Didn't see a game log, so here's one. Dazzle says Mauer is doing better because he's more comfortable playing first base now. Apparently it doesn't even occur to him that the concussions could have had an effect.

pickoff!
Karl Ravech just gave a report that Schilling was fired. He didn't sound too broken up about it.
Suzuki only hits for extra bags.
he'll end the season with a batting slash line of 200/200/800.
Mauer may also be more comfortable because he's not afraid of being punched in the face by a certain clubhouse leader.
We are all living in Eddie Nunez's world. jeeze
Nicely done by the pitcher.
I dunno, still love watching pitchers bat.
I also like Nuñez beating the shift for an RBI!
Dick was also pleased that someone beat the shift.
The whole concept has been disproved!
Heh.
That sounds like a nervous laugh because you know he really thinks that...
Where are those laugh to keep from crying Japanese emojis?
On my phone, they're under the button I keep accidentally hitting when I'm trying to switch the keyboard over to find proper punctuation.
When this inning started, I heard who was up and thought "whelp, no runs THIS inning".
Heh. Nice Hustle, Dozier.
Doh.
Huh, Joe Mauer is a lot better so far this year, Dick. It's almost as if he wasn't lying about still feeling concussion symptoms last year.
I know, quite the mystery.
I had typed out a similar comment that I then deleted because dick n Bert.
Also, I find it interesting that they've switched to the Joe Mauer is good at baseball script this year.
Too many other things to complain about this year, I guess.
It's just crazy because if he'd blown out his knee in 2013, they'd have no trouble accepting that sure, there could be a bit of a recovery for that.
When you make $23 million a year, you're expected to buy whatever bionics are necessary to compensate for your injuries.
It's even crazier considering Morneau and Koskie both played here.
And the fact that Morneau won a batting title when he was in his third year after a concussion.
I complain a lot about Dick n Bert, but at least they're our fools. I was watching the mets phils tilt the other night, and the crew from the Phillies were brutal. No one was safe from their wrath, including their own fans. So, I guess I'm saying it could be worse.
I am happy that they've gotten off the Joe sucks bandwagon, though.
So am I. And I do vote that Joe plays awesome this year and keeps it that way.
Is Joe running for president?
2 years too young.
It could be worse, and that's why "ballpark sounds"is the greatest thing ever.
Tommy "punchout" Milone
He wasn't sacrificing. Duh.
Aaron Hicks doing Aaron Hicks things
Whoa.
Danny Valencia is still playing ball?
He's the starting third baseman for the A's. Had a very solid season last year.
Since cutting off fantasy, I feel like I've been living under a rock. Actually, I've always lived under a rock.
I was going to make a snarky platoon remark because he was in 2014, but he did quite well against righties last year too.
Milone has almost as many hits this game as Twins pitchers got all last season.
Dang nice line drive there.
So I guess the obvious question: can Milone play the field?
put him at catcher
Mlb.tv shit the bed and the laptop crashed, off to watch vinyl. Let me know how the twins fare.
Damn, I really wanted Milone to finish out this inning.
Bit by that third-time-through-the-order bug.
walks will haunt.
welp, might have to pay attention to the pucksters
I didn't quite catch the play. Would Rosario have caught it?
maybe, but it was a rocketshot
I don't know why they brought the ass-bats back out of storage, but now would be a good time to put em back.
Arcia agrees
If the twins need someone to help with these sort of decisions, I could be had at a very reasonable price.
Rosario also agrees
My price is going up.
Hopefully
ParkHerr Kepler will also when he pinch hits for the pitcher next inning. He does.
Switched back from the hockey game just in time to see HRcia do his thing. We've got some guys that can make the baseball get small in a hurry.
Tsk. Missed that one.
HRCIA
So I guess no bullpen of the week this week, eh?
Definitely getting demerits in my series recap.
Many demerits.
Well deserved, too. At least I can go to bed now.
FSN showed the active leaders in batting average with RISP. Mauer is ranked second now.
But not with 2 outs, I guess.
Whaaaaaa happon!?!
I think the Twins just thought there was far too much positivity after the four game winning streak.
Kepler with a quick orbit of the bases with his double and Mauer's single.
