CHATTANOOGA 7, BIRMINGHAM 6 IN CHATTANOOGA
The Lookouts once again blew a big lead, but this time the story had a happy ending. Levi Michael's three-run triple capped a five-run fourth that put Chattanooga ahead 6-2. It was 6-4 with two out in the ninth, but a two-run double by Keenyn Walker tied it 6-6. In the bottom of the ninth, Michael walked and was on first with two out. Travis Harrison then doubled to bring him home with the winning run. Aaron Slegers pitched six innings, giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Harrison was 3-for-4 with three doubles and a walk. Daniel Palka was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, raising his average to .313.
