Who is Centena?
a guy not JR Murphy
I thought the same thing today too, only with Polanco.
Polanco is the other international player signed the same year as Sano and Kepler. I think Polanco's deal would have been the biggest in Twins history if not for Sano.
Dang.

Not losing!
this is no longer true
Morris finally outed himself as not caring about sabermetrics. I know, I'm shocked too.
"Numbers don't matter. The only thing that matters are letter. L and W."
Got home from the park. Flipped on the game. Saw the score and that was the first thing I heard. Not going watch or listen to these clowns anymore today.
He's just upset about now being third on the Tigers' strikeout list.
Another decent start by Duffey. Three runs in seven innings is good enough for most teams.
Because...
Doubles by Garcia and Jackson give White Sox 2-1 lead, and keep alive this stat: Twins have trailed in 30 of their 31 games this year.

wow, great catch by Jackson. I guess outfield defense does matter
So are there any comparisons left to 1991, or can we officially write this season off?
Jack Morris is still cantankerous
The comparison to 1991 is: The Twins are a lot worse this year than they were in 1991.
I see that Duffman struck out 4 in an inning. At least that was interesting.
Another squandered QS. It's not the starters that we should be worrying about (currently)
Except the Twins have allowed the most runs in the AL. The Royals have scored fewer runs than the Twins, who are also 12th in the AL in OPS+.
currently. It changes daily.
The Twins have the worst fielding in the AL at the moment. I think that might be correlated with leading the league in runs.
Two of the three major metrics have them the worst. UZR has them 12th.
For all the talk about the Royals success, I really wanted to see Buxton, Kepler, and Rosario in the outfield together.
The Duffman has 17 Ks and 4 BBs in 17 1/3 innings this year and a lower ERA than in his 10 games last year. And next up is Berrios.
Good thing he had those weeks of seasoning in AAA to get on track after a rough spring!!
I'm sensing snark, but I believe this to be true.
Harper is hit once and walked six times. No at bats. That's a record
Nats still lose. Cubs 24-6
for a moment I thought that was the score of the game
Hm. Which will be higher by the end of the season: Twins wins or Cubs losses?
