HJ mentioned this last week, but do get your picks in for the WGOM summer mix. The basics were covered last week, but the gist is put three song in spoilers. They don't have to be from this year, but they totally can be. We'll make a mix, then post a playlist. It was fun last year, and I have no reason to think it won't be again this year.
Your next curator starts next week! I had hoped to own this a little more, but it's been a hectic last couple of months. Next time this opportunity comes around, I'll make sure to take a winter stretch. Thanks Can of Corn for the couple of pinch hits, and thanks everyone else for putting up with the increasingly half-baked content.
In the meantime, drop your ten.

Diarrhea Planet's new album is streaming on NPR Music if you are so inclined.
I am, and it's a pretty stellar release.
Sturgill Simpson and Joanna Newsom both recently had really interesting interviews on WTF. SS is especially enjoyable as he's hilarious.
I listened to the new Paul Simon album today. "Cool Papa Bell" is NSFW, but is pretty damned perfectly chill and would probably go well on the summer mix.
That's probably my favorite song on the new Sturgill. Please spare me how awesome it was in person.
I don't need to say a word.

AWESOME
I hate you assholes ๐
I thought for a minute the back of my head made an appearance in this one, but on second look I don't believe that is me...
That was the 3rd freaking song!
Love that first track on your list. They were one of the best shows I saw last year.
I saw them last Tuesday and Sturgill on Sunday. Two weekday concerts within six days!
Living large, 'nad. I don't really go to shows on school nights anymore ... come to think of it, I don't really go to shows anymore.
I don't really go to shows on school nights anymore ... come to think of it, I don't really go to shows anymore.
C'mon meat, stop ruining my fantasy of how easy it would be to get to shows if I didn't have kids!
Made my summer mix too (just not my suggestions here, because I went a different way). Great pick.
