August 19, 2016: Sharper

Darren Sharper got 18 years for his crimes. He was originally going to get nine, and the judge said this wasn't enough and demanded more. We aren't doing enough to combat rape as a society, but 18 years for a rich, good-looking athlete will have to be a start, I guess.

  1. either something happened on the basement side, or my side, but I can no longer access the Basement via Chrome, whether desktop or Droid.

wgom.org normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to wgom.org this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be wgom.org, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit wgom.org right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

      1. Same thing from FireFox from a Mac. Safari (which I normally don't use) allowed me to post this after a warning.

    1. I'd like someone to give Arcia another chance, but the Twins have too many DH types as it is.

  2. I usually listen to the radio, so I don't hear Dick and Bert much. Are they always this inane, or is tonight special?

  3. You get the impression the umpires were hoping the Twins would go out so it would be an official game, and when the Twins didn't let that happen they called for a delay.
