Kershaw perfect through four. He also has a hit.
Gives up a hit but still scoreless.
Báez is a baseball master.
Clayton Kershaw is good at baseball.
Four days rest, but only two since Game 5, and he still goes seven scoreless innings in only 84 pitches.
I think we can put to rest the theory that Kershaw chokes in the postseason. I really hate when that kind of talk surrounds a player, especially from the media. It just shows how so many just don't understand about SSS.
His postseason ERA is a bit inflated of him being pulled in the middle of an inning and the relief corps gives up hits and those runs are charged to Kershaw.
He has a FIP of ~3.03 in the postseason and that includes 15.1 innings from his first two seasons. Excluding those two early seasons, he has a 2.28 FIP.
