Listening to the Cubs' audio feed in AtBat. No live streaming options work in my area (no local Fox feed in Sling, even). I understand The W.A.S.T.E is in the Cubs' booth.
That sucks. I have local Fox on Sling.
What about rabbit ears and a tuner? I hear ubes knows optimal positioning too.
That's how I'm watching out at the homestead
Don't own a set, unfortunately. In the pre-digital era I could've rigged my own antenna. Never envisioned a scenario where I'd want over-the-air broadcast TV.
We don't really watch TV anymore, which only becomes an issue when online content providers make agreements that tie their online content to TV subscriptions.
I'd probably give MLB $35 to watch the World Series this year without thinking too hard about it. (Basically two movie tickets?) I guess they don't want my money or my eyeballs. I'm too many years removed from pirating things to find a non-malware feed online.
Jokes on us. Have to go back to 1920s technology to watch.
At least mine looks space age!
If MLB wants to go all-in on a period-correct fan experience throwing back to the last time the Cubs won the Series, then I'm going to need a newspaper subscription so I can find out tomorrow what happens tonight.
Too late for publication, unless you get the evening edition.
You may have to wait for the Thursday morning paper.
I'm sure there will be enough people milling around the newsstand to get the answer.
Good point. That's how President Dewey found out he won the election.
That is a large strike zone.
Might as well put it here, but I'm rooting for the Clevelands.
1. I'm for long losing streaks and Cleveland just got off the Schneid.
2. I'd prefer Chicago not just become an inland Boston.
There goes the shutout!
Thats some TWINS BASEBALL!! right there.
KKKKKKKKluber
Lester gets the Mariano call.
MLB moved up tomorrows start time to 6:00pm central because of forecasted rain.
Good thing they consulted the Old Farmer's Almanac.
Millertime.
Who looks a little rusty.
OH MAN Rajai Davis didnt throw to second for the easy double play
Wobble Wobble slam the door
More wobbling by Miller.
That ball was destroyed.
Blowout time. I wonder if Allen enters the game anyway because he's warmed up.
Madden needed to get his entire bullpen into this game. To keep them fresh.
But I'm ok with Francona making sure.
A couple of Cubs headed indoors after that homer.
MVP MVP MVP!
I'm guessing Cubs fans aren't enjoying these ad spots for Binny's, the "official champagne provider of the Chicago Cubs" right now.
So. Many. Pitching. Changes.
Fun, but man oh man did it take a minute.
3:37 according to Buck. Way too long for a 6-0 game.
Agreed.
Verducci with an insulated sport coat!!?!? like a down winter jacket in the form/shape of a dress coat.
That strikes me as a metaphor for Verducci's perspective on baseball.
