  1. Hmmmmm. I like this song a lot. But both the last time this song was played and this time, I find myself wishing the performance were less careful and more messy.

  2. I don't think I posted this: Mitski on Song Exploder. As I've mentioned, this is a neat, bite-sized podcast where the artist sits down and goes through the master tapes of the recording, isolating and explaining the building blocks of the song. Pretty cool. Also, I think I remember Mitski admitting she was too lazy to learn how to play guitar.

    1. Are you sure Song Exploder isn't just a way to get a song even more stuck in a person's head than it was already?

  3. her music is like an aging racetrack greyhound; graceful, but still kind of sad. Um, OK.
