Since this is bizarro Twins season so far, I'm (half-heartedly) predicting a sweep.

We covered a number of minor league promotions in today's edition of Minor Details. In addition to those, Dereck Rodriguez, Alex Perez, and Brian Navaretto were promoted to Chattanooga. Also, Trey Vavra, Rafael P. Valera, and Daniel Kihle were released.
wait, i thought varva was at least a little decent.
He had a really good year at Cedar Rapids in 2015 (.346/.406/.538), at age 23. Last year in Fort Myers he batted .230/.316/.326 and this year he was batting .132/.262/.179. I don't know if something happened to him or if he just can't handle the better competition.
I think it should be PAs/Runs+RBI-HR just because a solo home run will give you a run scored and an RBI but produce just 1 run.
I know this isn't _____ Movie Day, but Gimmie Danger (the stooges doc on Amazon) is phenomenal.
Despite not swinging a bat in years, and two hip replacements (one 8 months ago), and probably against my Dr's wishes, I agreed to sub in a softball doubleheader tonight. Regardless how relatively sound my fundamentals might have been, it's going good to be rusty. My decision to do so was swayed by Mrs Runner not seeming bothered by it, and being offered to play first base, but the deciding factor was the absolutely beautiful weather this evening. We'll see what happens...
F6 (shallow LF - good play), BB, FC 6-4
Played some first and catcher, and although I didn't embarrass myself (anymore than everyone else -- the pitches were coming right out of the sun) I think I need to be put down. I don't have the starting speed I used to, and it's probably a beating I don't need to be giving myself. I think I'll limit myself to going to the cage periodically. *sniff*
That torque has got to be...challenging on your hips.
