INDIANAPOLIS 4, ROCHESTER 1 IN INDIANAPOLIS
The Indians opened the first inning with three singles, leading to two runs. ByungHo Park homered in the second to make it 2-1, but that was as good as it would get. Indianapolis scored single runs in the third and the fifth to gradually pull away. The Red Wings had ten hits but went 0-for-6 with men in scoring position.
Nik Turley pitched 4.1 innings, giving up four runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts. D. J. Baxendale pitched 1.2 scoreless innings. Alex Wimmers retired all six men he faced, striking out four. Park was 3-for-4 with a home run, his seventh. Matt Hague was 2-for-4 with a double.

TAMPA 7, FORT MYERS 3 IN FORT MYERS
Wes Wilson hit a two-run double in the second and the Yankees scored three runs without a hit in the fourth (two walks, a hit batsman, two wild pitches, and a balk) to take a 5-0 lead. Tanner English hit a two-run single in the fifth to make it 5-2, but that was as close as the Miracle would get.
Lewis Thorpe continued to struggle in July, going just 3.2 innings and allowing five runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts. Michael Theofanopoulos pitched 2.1 scoreless innings. Alex Robinson issued three walks but still managed to pitch a scoreless inning, dropping his ERA to 3.00 with 11 strikeouts in 6 innings. Sean Miller was 3-for-4 with a double. English was 2-for-4. Jermaine Palacios was 0-for-4 and is batting .316.
LANSING 3, CEDAR RAPIDS 1 IN CEDAR RAPIDS
The Lugnuts scored all of their runs in the first inning. They opened the game with a single, an error, and a hit batsman, loading the bases. Nash Knight then delivered a two-run single and a squeeze bunt brought home the third run. The Kernels got their lone run in the eighth on two walks and two wild pitches. They drew five walks in the game but had only four hits, all singles, and went 0-for-6 with men in scoring position.
Anthony Marzi pitched seven innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits and no walks with no strikeouts. His ERA is 1.35 with a WHIP of 0.75. Colton Davis pitched a scoreless inning to drop his ERA to 1.75. Hector Lujan pitched a scoreless inning to lower his ERA to 1.59 with a WHIP of 0.91.
ELIZABETHTON 15, PULASKI 4 IN PULASKI
It was tied 1-1 through four, but the Twins scored six in the fifth to take control of the game. Jose Miranda had a three-run single-plus-error and J. J. Robinson hit a two-run homer in the inning. With the score 7-3 after eight, the Twins had an eight-run ninth inning to put the game firmly out of reach. Carson Crites had a three-run double and T. J. Dixon had a two-run homer in that inning.
Ryley Widell pitched 3.2 innings, giving up one run on two hits and no walks with three strikeouts to make his ERA 1.50 with a WHIP of 0.50 and 6 strikeouts in 6 innings. Miranda was 4-for-5 with a home run (his sixth), three runs, and three RBIs. He is batting .337. Dixon was 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and three RBIs. He is batting .321. Ariel Montesino was 2-for-3 with two walks. Shane Carrier was 2-for-5 and is batting .327.
GCL ORIOLES 5, GCL TWINS 3 AT TWINS
The Orioles scored one in the second and two in the third to take a 3-0 lead. The Twins got on the board in the bottom of the third on three walks and a wild pitch. Will Robertson hit a two-run homer in the sixth to make it 5-1 Orioles. The Twins scored single runs in the sixth and ninth. They had men on first and second with one out in the ninth, but a fly out and a ground out ended the game.
Jordan Balazovic pitched 5.2 innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk with one strikeout. Juan Mojica pitched 1.1 scoreless innings. Amilcar Cruz pitched two shutout innings. Ricky De La Torre and Darling Cuesto were each 2-for-3 with a walk. Kidany Silva was 2-for-4 with a double. Royce Lewis was 0-for-4 with a walk and is batting .301.
DSL TWINS 7, DSL ANGELS 4 AT TWINS (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)
It was 1-1 after two, but the Twins scored five in the third to take control of the game. All five runs scored on homers, as Samuel Vasquez hit a two-run homer and Yeremi De La Cruz delivered a three-run homer. Julio De La Cruz hit a two-run double in the fourth to cut the lead to 6-3, but that was as close as the Angels would come.
Michael Montero struck out seven in four innings but allowed three runs on three hits and two walks. His ERA is 2.76 with a WHIP of 0.94 and 44 strikeouts in 42.1 innings. Junior Navas pitched a scoreless inning to keep his ERA at zero through five innings. Yeltsin Encarnacion was 1-for-3 and is batting .365. Ruben Santana was 1-for-3 with a double and is batting .364. Estamy Urena was 1-for-2 with a home run, his third, and is batting .362. Alberoni Nunez was 0-for-3 and is batting .339. Juan Martinez was 0-for-3 and is batting .322.
