NORFOLK 6, ROCHESTER 4 IN ROCHESTER (12 INNINGS)
The Red Wings led 4-2 through seven but RBI singles by Chance Sisco in the eighth and Drew Dosch in the ninth tied it 4-4. Rochester had the bases loaded with one out in the tenth and did not score. In the twelfth, Mike Yastrzemski led off with a triple and scored on a Chris Johnson single. Pedro Alvarez singled home an insurance run. The Red Wings went down in order in the bottom of the twelfth. Rochester had fifteen hits and six walks, but still only scored four by going 2-for-18 with men in scoring position. They stranded seventeen runners.
Stephen Gonsalves made a fine AAA debut, striking out seven in seven innings while giving up two runs on four hits and no walks. ByungHo Park, J. B. Shuck, and Leonardo Reginatto were each 2-for-4 with a walk. Zack Granite was 2-for-6 with a double and is batting .340. Mitch Garver was 2-for-6 with a double and a walk. Matt Hague was 2-for-6 with a double. Daniel Palka was 2-for-6 with a walk.
BIRMINGHAM 7, CHATTANOOGA 4 IN BIRMINGHAM
The Barons had three doubles in a three-run second. Danny Mendick hit a two-run homer in the fifth to make it 5-0. The Lookouts scored two in the seventh and had the bases loaded with one out, but a double play ended the inning. They scored two more in the eighth to make the score 7-4 and again had the bases loaded with one out, but a pair of infield grounders ended the inning. Chattanooga went down in order in the ninth.
Kohl Stewart struck out six in five innings but allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk. Glen Perkins continued his rehab with a scoreless inning, giving up one hit. Gabriel Moya struck out the side in a perfect inning to drop his ERA to 0.92 with an 0.78 WHIP and 76 strikeouts in 49 innings. Max Murphy was 2-for-4 with a triple. Edgar Corcino was 2-for-4 and is batting .307. T. J. White was 2-for-4. Carlos Paulino was 1-for-3 with a walk and is batting .338. Jonathan Rodriguez was 0-for-4 and is batting .309.

QUAD CITIES 7, CEDAR RAPIDS 6 IN CEDAR RAPIDS
Luis Payano's two-run single in the fourth put the River Bandits up 3-1, a lead they would not relinquish. It was 7-4 after seven. Christian Cavaness homered to lead off the eighth and Jimmy Kerrigan tripled and scored on a Lewin Diaz single to make it 7-6, but the Kernels did not get a hit the rest of the game.
Tyler Watson pitched five innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks with one strikeout. Patrick McGuff struck out two in two shutout innings to lower his ERA to 2.29 with 40 strikeouts in 35.1 innings. Kerrigan was 3-for-4 with a home run (his second), a triple, and a walk. He scored three times. Cavaness' home run was his sixth.
GREENEVILLE 5, ELIZABETHTON 2 IN ELIZABETHTON
The Astros had two doubles in a four-run first. Carson Crites hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first, but that was all the Twins could do. They loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the ninth, but a double play ended the game.
Brusdar Graterol pitched just 2.2 innings, allowing four runs on five hits and and two walks. He did strike out four. Randy Dobnak pitched the rest of the way, going 6.1 innings and giving up one run on one hit and no walks with four strikeouts. Akil Baddoo was 2-for-4 and is batting .333. Crites was 1-for-4 with a home run, his third, and is batting .344. Andrew Bechtold was 1-for-4 and is batting .326.
GCL ORIOLES 6, GCL TWINS 4 AT TWINS
Jared Akins hit a three-run homer in the seventh to make it 4-0. The Orioles scored two in the eighth. In the ninth, six walks and a balk produced four runs to put the Orioles ahead 6-4, a lead that would hold up.
Michael Kohn started and pitched a scoreless inning to make his ERA 2.25 with a WHIP of 0.50 and 6 strikeouts in 4 innings. Blayne Enlow struck out four in four shutout innings to drop his ERA to 1.29 with a WHIP of 0.71 and 14 strikeouts in 14 innings. Zach Featherstone pitched two shutout innings to lower his ERA to 2.25. Akins was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Alex Robles was 2-for-4 and is batting .338. Jean Carlos Arias was 0-for-3 with a walk and is batting .300.
DSL TWINS 4, DSL ANGELS 3 AT TWINS
The Twins led 3-0 after five, but the Angels scored single runs in innings six through eight to tie it 3-3. In the ninth a walk, a stolen base, a ground out, and a passed ball put the Twins ahead 4-3. The Angels had men on first and third with one out in the ninth, but a pair of strikeouts ended the game.
Fredderi Soto pitched five shutout innings, giving up one hit and one walk with no strikeouts. His ERA is now 1.21. Jose Bermudez struck out three in a scoreless inning to keep his ERA at zero with a WHIP of 0.67 and 4 strikeouts in 3 innings. Estamy Urena was 2-for-4 with two walks and is batting .336. Alberoni Nunez was 1-for-2 with a walk and is batting .362. Yeltsin Encarnacion was 0-for-3 with a walk and is batting .339. Agustin Marte was 1-for-3 with a walk and is batting .317. Juan Martinez was 0-for-1 with three walks and is batting .315.
