JALISCO 7, OBREGON 1 IN JALISCO

Jalisco scored three in the sixth and three in the eighth to put the game out of reach.  Manny Rodriguez was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs.  Tyler Alexander pitched six shutout innings, giving up three hits and no walks with three strikeouts.

CULIACAN 1, LOS MOCHIS 0 IN CULIACAN (14 INNINGS)

Josh Fuentes led off the bottom of the fourteenth with a walkoff home run.  The teams combined to strand twenty-four runners and go 0-for-20 with men in scoring position.  Edgar Gonzalez pitched five shutout innings, giving up three hits and one walk with two strikeouts.  For Los Mochis, Alejandro Arteaga pitched 5.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and no walks with four strikeouts.

MAZATLAN 2, MEXICALI 1 IN MAZATLAN

Jose Aguilar doubled and scored on a Garin Cecchini single to give Mazatlan a 2-1 lead in the fourth, and it held up.  Oscar Verdugo pitched five innings, giving up one run on six hits and a walk with no strikeouts.

HERMOSILLO 4, NAVOJOA 1 IN HERMOSILLO

Leading 1-0, Hermosillo scored three in the ninth to put the game away.  Alejandro Flores was 3-for-4.  Jose Samayoa pitched five shutout innings, giving up three hits and two walks with two strikeouts.

DOMINICAN LEAGUE

Twins:  Carlos Paulino (Gigantes) was 1-for-5 with a double and a walk.

ESCOGIDO 4, LICEY 3 IN ESCOGIDO

Each team scored one in the second and two in the fifth.  In the bottom of the ninth, Franchy Cordero hit a bases-loaded single to win the game for Escogido.  Tyler Heineman and Willi Castro were each 2-for-4.  Kelvin Marte pitched four innings, giving up an unearned run on three hits and no walks with one strikeout.

ORIENTE 3, AGUILAS 0 AT AGUILAS

Oriente scored single runs in the second, third, and fourth, and that was all they needed.  Socrates Brito was 2-for-4 with a home run.  Radhames Liz pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, giving up no hits and a walk with three strikeouts.

GIGANTES 8, ESTE 7 IN ESTE (11 INNINGS)

It was tied 4-4 through ten.  The Gigantes scored four in the eleventh and held on as Este got three of them back and had the tying run on base.  Eloy Jimenez was 3-for-5 with a triple to lead the Gigantes.  Elih Villaneuva pitched five innings, giving up one run on two hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
