Yay baseball!
Good for Berrios to get through first couple innings unscathed. Those tend to be problem innings when a young player is pumped up for a big start.
That's why he started the second game. Possibly fewer nerves on day two.
Berrios has had a problem with that in the past, but so far not so this year. He did well in his first start of the season and is doing well tonight.
Morrison hit the ball to left field, only it was right at the fielder.
LoMo with another line drive for an out. He's going to go on a real hot streak once his luck starts changing.
Joe flashin' leather
LoMo did not look pleased on that one.
I’m curious why they didn’t make this two 1-game series(es)? Then each team only loses one home gate. I suppose the Twins and MLB worked it out to their liking, I guess.
Hi everybody. I'm again listening to the game because ... nevermind.
Same, but got to hear Provus casually mention FanGraphs. I'm sure he's mentioned it before but I don't remember it.
Berríos is really good.
Dizz and Provus are upset about Berrios leaving the game. I'm not sure that having him leave here is the wrong decision...
84 pitches. It's a little odd, I guess. Not upset about it, other than being denied more Berrios.
Well, there's always the chance that Molitor has some information that I don't, but I'd have left him in.
Facing the bottom of the order the third time, having finished the seventh with 84 pitches. I would have left him in because it's the bottom of the order but had a relatively short leash.
It's a long season, but I'd at least have sent him out for one more batter and then take him out so the crowd could acknowledge him.
Oh, and I am still liking Reed a whole lot.
Berríos has allowed runs in only one of his four starts this season. Also only walked one so far this year.
Is there any reason Reed couldn't have stayed in to pitch the ninth?
Less drama than putting Rodney out there?
I wonder how losing the ball in the lights affects your StatCast numbers?
I'm feeling Joe walkin' off...
I'm feelin' a Sano walkoff...
I'm feelin' oh who am I kidding?
I mean it has to be a walk off home run for Rosario , right?
It would be really cool if Tyler Olson happened to throw one where Rosario's is swinging.
Would have been a home run at my city baseball field.
So the Twins decided to let Cleveland try out the Manfred Rule of starting with a man on second.
NO
@MikeBerardino
Kepler removed with right knee injury

Exhale (until the 11th).
Yay Joe!
Nice play by Sano.
Runners at the corners and our secret hitting machine up to bat...
Vaguely surprised they let Escobar advance. While he doesn't matter for the score, it does eliminate the GIDP.
I'm feeling good about our chances here. Particularly since Rodney is out of the game and can't do any harm.
I was thinking the same thing.
PB for a run would be okay.
dang.
well, hell's bells
Too late for me. If only the Twins got to start with a runner on second instead.
keepin it going here. twins on the radio, wolves on the tv. one is easier to ignore than the other while computering.

You want Puerto Rican magic? How about Eddie with a walkoff with the Twins trailing. I can only hope.
That's the 3rd HR allowed by Hildy after allowing just 4 all of last year. His Ks have plummeted as well. That was just his 3rd of the season in 7 2/3 innings.
I remain convinced there's either a flaw in his mechanics or he's hurt. Either way, they need to take him off the roster, either by sending him to AAA or the DL, because he's not getting anything accomplished by pitching in the majors.
Our old friend Belisle!
Holy cow. That Sano home run was a heck of a thing.
Funny, I saw Belisle coming out and thought "I like our chances here"
I've got 17th in the ending inning pool.
I'm feeling 14th

haven't been paying much attention, but the wolves have been playing poorly and petty. bjelly just chucked chris paul out of bounds.
my extra inning watching life is coming to an end tonight, too
Well, good inning by Booze. Sort of a creepy first pitch, though.
We've gotten to their bullpen starting staff!
We did better off their bullpen than their starting staff in the first 14 innings. Fortunately, Tomlin isn't Carrasco.
ESPN crew getting seriously GOML about proper bunting technique.
I mean, I guess if you're going to do it, do it right or don't give up the out.
Eddie Perez had it right the first time when he said they shouldn't be bunting at all.
He did, but they had a man on second every time they asked him. Duh!
Well, I'm outta here. Maybe I'll finish in the morning if my DVR works.
Rosario leads off the bottom of the 16th with a single and pulls in slow grabbing his hammy. Stays in the game.
It's after midnight in Puerto Rico.
Joe Mauer was 34 years old when this game started. He's now 35.

The same could be said of Zach Duke!
Clearly the Twins were destined to win last night's game in extras.
Oof, Kipnis.
First and third, no outs. Curious to see how we slip out of this.
RYAN LAMARRE!!
Who's still up?
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hi!
Twins win!
YEEEEEP
Worth the wait. Also, it spared me the Wolves shitshow.
I didn't even turn it on after I saw the halftime score.
LaMarre had more hits in this game than he had in 38 career at bats coming into this season - and he wasn't even in the starting lineup.
He also had more hits than anyone who started the game on either team. He also still has a 1.000 BABIP: 7 hits, 5 Ks in 12 PAs.
The A's and the White Sox went 14 innings today as well. I wonder how many times in MLB 2 games went at least 14 innings.
Happened last year I think just once. I'm seeing two instances at least in 2014.
I'm awake, let's finish this game.
I did manage to see the end, I only closed up my laptop in the 14th.
