This is the 4th weeks of the MLB season and the first time the Twins have played on a Friday. No snow in the forecast since the game is in a Dome. Maybe returning to The Trop is the kickstart Logan Morrison needs to get his season going.

Good inning from Lynn!
Nice 2009 twins outfield,there, rays.
They could probably coax Delmon Young out of Australia.
LOMO!
Good call, DW.
My thoughts, exactly. Nice to see LoMo get a mistake pitch and not miss it, especially since Archer had been centering quite a few pitches to the Twins. Mauer K-ed on a slider that looked to be in the same spot as LoMo's HR, but Mauer was out in front of it.
Nice to see Kepler back in the lineup after having been taken out in the marathon game.
Geez, a walk and two not well-hit ground balls and a run is in and 2 runners in scoring position.
Well, a 4-pitch walk to load the bases and then out of the inning still tied in 2 pitches.
Wow, escaped only giving up 1 run
4-6-3, whew.
What a terrible approach by the Rays. Lynn was struggling to even throw strikes in that inning and with the bases loaded and no outs, they swing at both pitches thrown and hit a popup and a tailor-made DP.
When the Rays shortstop threw out Mauer, I hadn't seen his yellow sleeve before. When he threw the ball, I saw a sudden streak of yellow. I thought FSN had somehow put a yellow trail on the ball like some video games do to show the guy had thrown really hard.
I see the Wild have pretty much waved the white flag.
SocloseMo
Gordo’d my own dang self.
Off the bat, I thought he hit it over the fish tank
They can't overturn that, can they?
First time Archer is pitching from the stretch today.
I bet the Rays wish they could challenge Kepler's hit.
What a play by SS. tough luck for Grossman
Yes, but if it wasn't a hit-and-run, it would have been an easy double play, so Grossman at least gets an RBI and the Twins have the lead.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m deeply unimpressed by Lynn in his outings thus far.
I would ignore tonight. He's had 10 days between starts. His command has been very off. His K rate is actually up. It's just he's walked way more than his career numbers, so we really haven't seen what you would expect from Lynn in that area.
I think he has done all right, considering he is pitching on 10 days rest.
Walks will haunt, especially the No. 9 batter.
Dozier has a hit in every game played this season.
Good start for the third time through the order vs. Archer.
Twins PR flack says Dozier has a 14 gamer this season, 21 going back to last.
Sano is now 1-for-12 with 10 Ks vs. Archer in his career.
I love it when the Twins get the strike'emout/throw'emout double play.
Twins need to punish the Rays. They've had the bases loaded and no outs and didn't score and they've ended 2 scoring threats with a base runner being thrown out.
It feels like Eddie Rosario is due for a homer soon.
I was surprised Lynn came out for the 7th. I guess Molitor felt like with the bottom of the order up, that he could squeeze one more inning out of him. I just hope the decision wasn't made to get Lynn the win.
You have to extend the starter when you only have eight relief pitchers.
It’s like Span & Ramos are trying to get a point across.
Every player likes to do well against former teams no matter how they left.
Grossman has cost us 3 runs tonight. I think only 1 run would have scored on Span's double if Kepler was in RF and I think Kepler would have caught Span's single.
Bert: Rogers left the breaking ball up too much.
Me: It was a perfectly located pitch on the corner on 3-2. Sometimes you have to give credit to the hitter, especially since it wasn't hit very hard. If anything, question the pitch selection since Span had to be looking for that to hit it like he did.
Bert has said"he left that pitch up"so much that a lot of times he just uses it as a placeholder until he can think of something to say. I've heard him say it about pitches that were below the knees.
EDDIE!!!!!!!!
Oh, Eddie!
O_O
WHOA MAMA!
Not quite a grand slam swing. I'll take it.
One handed, and he had to go down to get it. That was something.
I was an hour off
you're getting all the calls tonight. do my future! actually, wait... don't.
I would say getting it done within an hour qualifies as "soon."
MAXX!!!!! YES!
Off a lefty!
I probably should put this in the Cup, but Grant Brisbee had this up at SBNation today We don’t appreciate Fernando Rodney enough
Hmmmm.
He just tied his saves total, so that means he's due for a bunch of saves now, right?
talk about the soft bigotry of low expectations.
Gas.
oh my goodness
Dang it.
D@mn Rodney
Seriously? That was just bad luck. He faced 5 batters and struck out 3 of them. Can't control the hops and can't strike out everyone.
Can't nail down the save as well. There is no good or bad luck when you're only watching Gameday.
I hope the Twins win it in the 10th because , as much as I love baseball and all, Im not prepared for another 16 inning affair.
Well thats a dumb way to lose a game.
WTAF
Sure looked like Duke touched the base. They need to always keep a camera pointed down the line to check the gap.
Everything in the last 20 minutes or so was extraordinarily stupid.
