Can't imagine there's going to be a lot of traffic here today, but this is here should you wish to subject yourselves to assbats on this fine holiday. For those brave (or bored) souls, let's see what Lynn and his 6.34 ERA can do.

No scrubs in the lineup tonight. Might actually score some runs. Would actually help if Dozier would make contact on fastballs down the middle and not take hanging curveballs.
This seemed to work pretty well.
You would think Sano would know that Junis was going to throw a curveball on the outside of the plate on his strike 2 pitch, yet Sano still tried to swing at it. Yeesh.
Has any team been struck out all 27 outs? Wondering for a friend.
The first 2 batters took strike 3 on hanging curveballs. I was happier with Sano.
Max Kepler has been the only thing worth watching in the batting lineup.
The team's leader in rWAR would disagree.
true!
I meant during this skid. Although Eddie is entertaining too.
Rosario is batting .438 in this 4-game losing streak.
Live look in on the 4ltr. Just in time to see Lynn give up a two-out single and 4-pitch walk.
SEND HIM!!
Ah hell, send them both
When you know a guy is going to strike out after the first pitch, that's not good.
Gonna be one of THOSE games.
Coming into today's game, the Twins have a .578 OPS when the game is tied. When they're behind, it's .765.
What the...?! runs!
That was the dumbest pitching I've seen in the majors in a long time. Sano swung and missed at like at least 4 breaking balls from Junis in his first 2 at-bats and looked lost at the plate. Third time up, Junis throws him 3 fastballs in the zone (1 was called a ball but was actually in the zone) and Sano hits a home run on the third one. Thank you, Junis. The only thing that would explain that is Junis had hung 2 curveballs to Rosario, who swung through both of them. Junis might not have trusted his location on that is the only thing that makes sense.
That was the Twins' first HR with anyone on base since Jake Cave's HR on May 19.
Tell me you didn't see this coming.
The bottom of the 5th? Only when there isn't a rainout.
Or Moose? Yeah, that was inevitable.
He couldn't get one (&*^&*^ out before blowing the lead.
I hate Lance Lynn.
Was there a curse on Kyle Gibson that somehow got transferred to Lynn?
The one where you get a QS somehow?
He went from double, walk, double to retiring the final 6. I was sure he was out of the game in the next batter or 2 after blowing the lead.
Nice Dozier!
ROYALS BASEBALL!!
Why didn't Rogers start the inning when 2 of the first 3 batters were left-handed?
Molitor is making me pine for Gardy.
First-pitch hits for the first batter off of both relievers.
Hildy's was on the second pitch. The first pitch was several inches outside and called a strike. He then put the next pitch well in the strike zone inexplicably. Rogers only gave up a lineout and that was after falling behind.
Rogers? I didn't even notice him. #LaRussa'd
This game is going to go extra innings and Bobby Wilson will take the loss. Maybe Lemarre.

Yes!!!!
I can't believe we're going to need Rodney to get a 4-out save when we had a 4-run lead with 2 outs and no one on base in the 8th inning.
buckle up
Multi-inning + Rodney = horror movie ending
That was a pathetically awful attempt at fielding that ball by Sano
I miss Escobar at the hot corner.
Thank you, Fernando.
Blaine; 11.44 ERA, 8.09 FIP, and 2-0; Boyer sighting.
His ERA is now higher.
Blaine Boyer? Most teams wait until they are down a lot more to give up.
I think Kepler would have ben out by 10 feet if he kept on running.
Max avoids being Glynn'd at home.
Garver!
BBIVBABB
He's finally helping the twins out, at least.
I don't know how the Twins coaxed a 1.2 bWAR out of Boyer, but it sure it an outlier compared to the rest of his career.
Fernando is trying to make it interesting.
Rodney's last pitch tonight was 96.7 mph. Apparently, getting the final out of the 8th didn't take too much out of him.
