Minor Details: Games of June 7

A bad game for Dietrich Enns.  A big comeback falls short for the Lookouts.  The Miracle game is suspended.  When Bailey Ober is on, he's really on.  Lots of hitting for the DSL Twins.

INDIANAPOLIS 8, ROCHESTER 0 IN ROCHESTER

Max Moroff hit a two-run homer in a three-run second that sent the Indians on their way.  The Red Wings had a man on third three times but did not score.

Taylor Motter was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk.  Wynston Sawyer was 1-for-2 with two walks and is batting .347.  Nick Gordon was 1-for-5 with a triple and is batting .338.

Dietrich Enns pitched 4.2 innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and two walks and striking out three.  Jake Reed pitched 1.1 scoreless innings despite giving up three hits and two walks.  Alan Busenitz pitched three shutout innings, giving up one hit and striking out two.  His ERA is 0.41 and his WHIP is 0.91.

MOBILE 9, CHATTANOOGA 7 IN CHATTANOOGA

Down 6-0 through four, the Lookouts scored six in the fifth to tie it.  The BayBears were too cool, though, scoring two in the ninth to break a 7-7 tie.  Zach Houchins drove in the lead runs with a two-run single.

Brent Rooker was 4-for-5 with a triple.  Edgar Corcino was 3-for-5 with a home run, his fifth.  Chris Paul was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.  Zander Wiel was 0-for-3 with a walk and is batting .304.

It was a bullpen game for Chattanooga.  Todd Van Steensel started, striking out two in two shutout innings and giving up one hit and two walks.  His ERA is 1.60.  Ryne Harper struck out four in three innings, giving up one run on three hits.

PALM BEACH 3, FORT MYERS 3 IN FORT MYERS (SUSPENDED IN THE SEVENTH INNING)

The Miracle had a man on second with one out in the seventh when the game was suspended.  Shane Carrier and Joe Cronin were each 2-for-3 with a home run.

CEDAR RAPIDS 8, BELOIT 0 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

The Kernels scored one in the fourth, three in the seventh, and four in the eighth.  Akil Baddoo hit a three-run homer in the eighth.

Jordan Gore was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs.  He is batting .303.  Alex Kirilloff was 2-for-4 with a triple and is batting .330.  David Banuelos was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs.  Baddoo was 1-for-5 and the home run was his fifth.  Robby Rinn was 1-for-4 and is batting .333.

When Bailey Ober is on, he's on.  This was his second game of the year in which he went six or more scoreless innings.  He pitched seven, giving up six hits and no walks and striking out six.  Overall, though, his ERA is 6.21 in seven starts.  Jovani Moran struck out four in two perfect innings.  His ERA is 2.73.

DSL TWINS 13, DSL ROCKIES 5 AT ROCKIES

Leading 4-3, the Twins scored five in the sixth to put the game out of reach.  Luis Gomez had a two-run double in the inning, which also featured two errors and two passed balls.

Jeferson Morales was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.  He is batting .357.  Ruben Santana was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two walks, scoring three times.  Jim Caceras was 2-for-4 with a walk and is batting .313.  Wilfri Castro was 2-for-4.  Brahiap Carrillo was 2-for-5 with a walk and is batting .350.  Luis Baez was 2-for-5.  Gomez was 2-for-6 and also scored twice.  He is batting .375.  Victor Heredia was 1-for-4 with a double and a walk and is batting .389.

Yordin Mateo pitched two innings, giving up two runs on two hits and three walks and striking out one.  Jose Guevera pitched 3.2 innings, giving up an unearned run on five hits and striking out two.  His ERA is zero in 5.2 innings.
