I just put a batch of buffalo jerky on the dehydrater (inspired by Epic buffalo jerky which I got for mountain biking last weekend.
1 lb. bison steak, cut in to 1/8" slices
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 scoche liquid smoke
couple shakes of onion powder
couple shakes of garlic powder
couple shakes of chili powder
some honey
Put everything into a big zicloc and marinate overnight in the fridge. Not sure how long it will take in the dehydrater.
Years ago my wife got a big bag of homemade beef jerky from a Hmong colleague at work. It was sweet and savory and by far the best I’ve ever had, there was soy and ginger and garlic and either some honey or teriyaki in there, but the flavor combo was other worldly. I can’t even think of beef jerky without remembering that batch.
At first glance, I thought the graphic was of pregnancy tests and thought someone was making an announcement.
I thought the Cubs had clinched the World Series when they acquired Bobby Wilson, but I see that the Rockies traded for Drew Butera. At least we know who'll be in the NLCS this year.
We already know who will win.
World Series Rings:
Bobby Wilson: 0
Drew Butera: 1
Yes, the past is always prologue.
Har: Watching ManCity vs. NewcastleU. NBBW: why are there so many referees on the field? (referring to Newcastle's white/black striped jerseys).
Nice to see Seattle Sounders’ homegrown player DeAndre Yedlin get his first EPL goal there.
We're having a bunch of kids over for the trinket's birthday two days ago and I've been tasked with making pizzas. I used the new ovens proof function and it is badass.
I'm in the middle of making french onion soup. Lots of onions. all of them.
95 here today. A little warm for French Onion Soup. But yumm.
I'll eat a good soup anytime.
I am 100% not a soup person. It's not that I don't like it if I have some, I just never choose to have any.
you and I are cut from the same cloth.
Liar. You love soup and you know it.
Lemon pepper chicken kabobs; too hot to grill, but there's a breeze, so screw it.
slow cooker beef & broccoli with brown rice and a mess of roasted vegetables,
Buxton won't be recalled in September.
Levine said the decision is about Byron’s health with his wrist, his production and not enough playing time up here. They can’t say it, but of course, it’s really about service time. Twins get an extra year of control with this move.

My opinion remains the same: penny wise and pound foolish.
