Why is Wiggins even bothering to shoot anymore? Might as well just hand the ball to the other team and walk back to the other end of the floor.

Aw, man. I thought we liked Wiggins again. This is really hard to keep track of.
There was, like, a week and a half long glimmer of hope, but he's dashed it across the rocks several times since then.
Speak for yourself, I never had that period of hope. I've been very firm in my theory that they should have traded him two years ago.
It's bad enough that he was a bust. Glen doubling down with the max contract will hamstring this team for years. He's untradeable. You will have to pay a team (in draft picks) to take him.
I've never been a fan.
I am certain some team would be willing to take Andrew Wiggins because there are always 5 to 10 teams willing to tank a season for a good draft pick.
heh, you probably wouldn't even have to let him in on your intentions. just tell him to head out there and do his best.
legit LOL π
The only way another team takes him is if you also include a draft pick. And Wolves would have to take back a big contract to match up salaries. He literally has negative trade value.
All true, but you might also be overestimating the intelligence of a number of NBA GMs....
I hope so but it feels like everyone is on the same page on Wiggins, now. Perception now matches reality. Could have gotten more a year or two ago.
Most definitely. That promise he made to Glen must have been really something.
oh, no question. i just meant there were a couple games there where he seemed halfway decent. that was snuffed out pretty quick.
Yep. Meanwhile, Zach Lavine is turning into what the Wolves hoped Wiggins would be. That trade has really turned into a disaster. Even worse than trading Ricky. Teague at least has been contributing to the team positively when he's healthy. I'm assuming they wouldn't have signed Teague without trading Ricky first.

Well, for starters, he has a career-high 8.1 assists per game, which would be 3rd in the NBA if he had enough games played to qualify.
His PER is slightly above average. He has 2.4 win shares but a VORP of 0, so he hasn't been great by any stretch of the imagination.
on track for career worsts in ORTG, VORP, Win Shares, PER, Offensive Box +/-, Box +/-, TS%, 2pt%, corner three% and, mysteriously and hilariously, dunk% (where the % indicates percent made, not pct of shots attempted)
That's kind of like a Bizzaro EGOT. Dunk % would bring it into Bizzaro NEGOT territory.
SMH. He was one of my favorites when he was playing. Considering he admitted to doing sending the photo to one mutual friend and the woman's lawyer asked the jury for $2.8M, he got off pretty easy at $67k.
Everyone loves to smack down the Red Sox. At their home park. On ESPN.
With only 2 regulars and only 2 more expected to the 25-man roster in the lineup. Plus the SP not expected to make the team.

Even Deadspin is piling on today. Woof.
Twins on ESPN this afternoon.
Astudillo leading off! Baldy crazy like a fox
He should start him at SS for real.
It doesn't seem to me like A-Stud's name is that hard to pronounce, but a lot of broadcasters sure seem to have trouble with it.
I haven't heard any, but I'm going to guess they accidentally put an "r" or two in one of these blanks:
A__st__u__dillo
No, no R. The Boston guys were calling him "a studio".
I'm betting the BoSox announcers talk less about the Sox than these ESPN yoyos
National Cereal Day today? If I'd have known, I'd have rolled out something more than Blueberry Mini-Wheats and Reese's Puffs.
You eat... 2 cereals a day?
sometimes three -- at the same time!
Aptly named, Joe.
Not a fun update, but...

Not a fun update II:
Tom Terrific has dementia.
That sucks. I was a big Big Red Machine fan as a kid and loved when Cincy acquired him.
