Sore but apparently not injured. I’m really lucky a big semi wasn’t in my path when I careened through three lanes of 5:00p trafffic.
Where on 94 were you?
Near the 280 exit in St Paul.
Huh, about 5 minutes after I went past there. Glad you're okay
and did Highway Patrol clap the other dude in irons for trying to assassinate you?
Uffda. Glad you escaped worse, free. Hope the soreness subsides & the other driver’s insurance coughs up.
Wow. So glad you walked away. Frightening!
Makes me resume considering updating our family vehicle to something newer.
I just sunk a fair bit of money into regular maintainance on the Buick LeSabre we got from Mrs. Hayes’ grandfather when he surrendered his license five years ago. On the one hand, still it has only 76,000 miles on it, and we could put the car payment to use elsewhere. On the other, the safety engineering surrounding the Poissonnière is the equivalent of my parents driving a car from the mid-1950s when I was the same age she is now. We mostly use it as an in-town car, but still.
Astudillo makes this team a lot more fun. It sounded like Falvey's experience with José Ramírez was a contributing reason to signing Astudillo despite the unusual body of work. I hope the team learns to take more risks with players that couldn't sell jeans before.
Read this in the 1843 last weekend - cool visual recipe.
Then made this as part of my pneumonia recovery journey (feed a cold).
I had bought a springform cake pan a year ago and a chocolate melting pan insert, but they had been sitting on the shelf unused. Finally got off the schneid - it turned out great (BTW go with 350F not 400F per the recipe comments). Now I need a 4 egg version as we can't eat this much cake between the two of us.
somehow, I never seem to get around to reading the 1843. Of course, I'm 5 weeks behind on my Economist reading as is.
Yeah that's why I made the switch. Got way behind on the E9.
Curling update: Shuster made it to the playoffs. They are currently playing Japan in the quarterfinals, though it can't be watched on YouTube without making your IP address look like it's outside the US. (it can be watched on NBC sports if your cable package has it.)
The US is in the playoffs, so it’s blocked for viewers in the US? Great way to grow interest...
All of the US games have been blocked on YouTube because they're being broadcast by NBC. So yeah, it's pretty stupid. I recently had to switch from my dad's Comcast account to my mom's directv account which doesn't get whatever channel this is on.
(fortunately, the Canada - Scotland draw has been really good.)
Bad news: the US is out.
Good news: there won't be any blacked out games.
I just got a call that my dad isn't doing very well, so I'll be headed out of town shortly. Don't know when I'll be back. All the stuff I do here will be temporarily suspended. Your prayers would be appreciated. Thank you.
Thoughts with you and your Pa. Be strong.
You & he will be in my prayers, Chaps.
As good as done - best news for you soon hopefully, too.
You and your family are in our prayers.
We'll be thinking of you
Thinking of you and saying a prayer for your family.
Anyone near the U who happens to be a notary?
notary yes, U no.
He didn't specify which U.
of M(N).
Same.
It took the Red Sox 29 games to lose 8 last season.
In case you didn’t see this on various social media accounts.

And found this Wolfgang 4.5 Eier Rezept. I'll try that next time.

Took 'em 10 this year.
