Down 1-0 in the top of the first. Plenty of time to come back. Go Twins!

Hope I didn't steal someone's thunder, but this is here.
Thanks Jeff! I was thinking a 1:10 start.
I'm not in any position to judge where in an at-bat the Twins should be aggressive, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Peacock work a little harder than 7 pitches per inning.
That is one of the things about that aggressive approach--it can look really bad when it doesn't work.
A double play here would be helpful.
A strikeout works, too. Let's get the double play now instead.
So a popup is okay, as long as we get the next guy out.
And we did! Not that I contributed much, of course, but you know what I mean.
CASTRO!!!!!!
woo woo!
Castro doesn't have much for a batting average, but he's drawing walks at a much higher rate than anyone else on the team, and he's been hitting more extra base hits than singles.
As I was saying....
Catro's .194 ave (heading into today) and 110 OPS+ makes me giggle.
Back from the lunchtime run to Menards...not like the rain is going to let up enough to let us plant anything.
A lead!
Keep those runs coming, boys!
3Buxton!
Whoa, Gladden really undersold how good Buxton's catch in the top of the inning was. He covered a LOT of ground.
Right on cue, a triple!
106 feet.
I mean, come on, Byron Buxton.
He needed to cover 106 feet in 5.6 seconds to make that flying catch at the wall.
And it feels like he didn't even work THAT hard for it. He's got another gear that he didn't use.
Buxton should try for second on every hit. Destroy that doubles record. It'll cut into his triples total, but I'm okay with that.
I'm off to do public address at a track meet. I built you a good lead. Hold 'em, guys!
Remember, before you get on the mic, eat a spoonful of honey sprinkled with cayenne pepper.
This is a good inning.
Let's see...what do we need for a cycle this inning?
Criminy. Extra base hits everywhere.
Who are these guys?!?
I'm okay with the OBP to SLG trade I think.
What trade? They're working 'em both today
Poor Rosario made two of the outs that inning.
He's really been struggling lately.
.048/.130/.190 last seven days.
After the butt whooping on Tuesday I said I liked our chances of at least a split. A series win is looking pretty likely right now (WE 94%).
This is the rubber game of the season matchup, too.
Agh, I forgot it was a noon game. Looks like I missed some fun.
I’m watching from the bedroom with the cat curled up beside me on the bed and the dog laying on the floor on my other side. Stereo pets and Twins baseball are a good combo.
That sounds better than me, sitting at my desk with nothing to do, watching the game on my phone.
That was an awkward run. Not sure what the heck that Astro dude was thinking.
Oooh, I love efficient innings like that.
Jorg3!
Polanco triples, so 5 bases on 2 hits.
WE is up to 99.1% now.
holy cr@p, did they widen the outfield gaps overnight?
His tactic of making Chirinos miss the bat was a much better way to go about things.
The wife has a big pork roast with charred poblano peppers, cayenne and cumin cooking in the crockpot. The whole house smells like a Mexican restaurant.
I would say that we now have a 99.7% chance of winning this series.

Hildy and May getting mop-up work this series.
Going out on a limb and saying that HBP was not intentional.
I, too, was hoping for a series split out of this one. Winning (and winning two of the games in very convincing fashion) makes this team look really good.
Series run differential: 0.
Shoot I was going to post something similar: Even though Twins lost a game 0-11, the run differential in the four game Astros series was zero.
It’s funny how nobody is talking about Sano. He must be itching to get back up with this team.
End of May is what I heard. At the very least, even rusty he couldn't hit any worse than Gonzalez.
Miguel Sano goes 4-for-4 with a home run for Class A Fort Myers, then packs his bags for Class AA Pensacola. Sano expected to be promoted for the weekend, sources say, and Twins now target a May 12 return to the majors.https://t.co/DnWbvJ3OWY

Now May 12 to be back with the Twins.
Jim Rowson has to be feeling pretty good about his job these days.
Ditto Wes Johnson
Cards lose.
Twins have the best record in the MLB (by percentage points).
Indians with the day off so 3 game lead now.
