We now join our game, already in progress.
The Twins have a 4-0 lead, thanks to a Schoop home run that happened as I was writing this game log up.
That is how quickly this team scores now.

This is here.
Also on location? The Twins' offense.
The best part of the season is undoubtedly everyone surrounding the Twins being unable to comprehend how to deal with this ridiculous success.
I flipped on the game, saw a 6-0 score, and immediately my mind went to, "Damn, well this game is going to be a waste... Oh wait, the Twins have the 6 runs!?"
Old habits my man
Jorge. Freaking. Polanco.
Man, the fall of Matt Harvey has been something else. It feels like forever ago that he was destined to be one of the perennial Cy Young candidates.
Thanks nibbish. Legislative shenanigans erupted and I neglected to hit ‘post’. Here’s what I had when interrupted:
Injuries will do that. Tommy John plus thoracic outlet. Pérez had the former but not the latter. I don't know about Pérez's partying habit though.
Just got off a sales call - did I miss anything?
The usual.
With apparently a dose of "more of the same".
cHRon!
Just finished up a required online yearly training task -- have I missed anything?
Somehow, even more of the usual since the last time this question was asked.
Interesting article for your reading pleasure while the Twins round the bases.

Thanks for that, Free. I have been pondering how he goes about things in the postgame pressers. I recall early on Rosario blowing a stop sign, and when asked about it, Rocco was almost....complimentary about it? It was quite a contrast between that and Molitor or Gardy's stern "we'll have a talking to" attitude. I was also intrigued to hear about the lengths they've gone to be inclusive with working through the language barrier.
Now, it's very, very easy to be happy-go-lucky and deferential when you're running the best team in baseball. I'm curious how that philosophy holds up when the team goes 1-9 on an important home stretch. Still, it's working right now. For now, that's all that matters.
It's obvious, but I'm going to say it anyway: that's a terrible headline. (even if he admits in early in the article.)
It's funny, however, that even though baldelli's style is being framed as a manager managing millennials, it's not just a generational thing. Empathy and respect for your employees, and the trust given that they'll do their job, would have been effective for any generation. I don't have any statistics handy, but I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that the vast majority of people would proform better under this type of manager than some hard ass drill Sargeant or hyper involved task master.
Marty, don't pitch to the score -- you have a fine ERA to protect!
Who's in the TV booth?
Levine.
Actually, it was Falvey the past couple innings? Is there anyone else in the booth, or are people just coming in to chill with the Duke?
Apparently its a roving cast of Twins officials since Latroy didn't think he'd still be in LA calling a game today, Apparently they even had an equipment manager or someone similar during that HR barrage in the 2nd inning.
Bunch of people visiting the booth today.
Boy, when Cron gets hot, he gets hot
So are these guys legit? It’s been so long that I can’t tell if we’re good or they’re bad.
And just like that ...
It's almost getting boring (it's not).
It's really not
Another 6 dinger game.
Make it 7.
Somehow we're making it 8
I am suffering from serious cognitive dissonance. I don't understand what I am watching.....
You're watching the best team in baseball, dangit!
Ho hum
Mercy!
Time to start making some outs. They've gotta plane to catch.
In previous years I would chime in here to plead with the boys to save some runs for tomorrow.
Another day, another onslaught
I think the key to the game is Kepler's stolen base
Has anyone attempted a bunt?
This is an awful lot of the usual.
An unusual amount of the usual?
Corey Provus is talking weighted on base percentage
Of course I opted to discuss the pitching matchup ... of course I did.
I thought it interesting.
I'm pretty sure this year's team has got more home runs than the all of the late 90's teams combined. (please do not fact check this.)
Assuming, for argument, that they win this one... they'll be more games over .500 than they've lost. Wee!
Please please please let Duffey finish the ninth.
I agree, and I have this feeling that he will. Baldelli seems smart enough to understand that.
Or I could be wrong, but at least it looks like it's some rando coming in.
I expected Baldelli to bring in someone else. Coddling manager.
Maybe he should have...
I mean our Runs/Hits ratio is below 1 for the game..........
Room for improvement.
Turns out watching Sharks is more fun than watching Piranhas.
If Kepler breaks himself on this play ...
Calm down there, Kep. You're up by like 50 runs.
What happened?
Kepler hit the wall pretty hard tracking a home run ball.
Kep ran full speed into the wall and rung his bell pretty good.
That's a lot less stupid than me ringing my bell just now by putting the kitten on the floor and slamming my forehead into a chair at the dinner table.
He certainly bent the shit out of his hat.
The Cleveland Indians could go on a 15 game winning streak and still be in second place if the Twins played .500 ball over the same stretch of games.
Twins were 22-27 after 49 games last season and got their 33rd win on June 20th to get to 33-37
This isn't helping the bullpen ERA
Uh oh. Two more grand slams and the Angels are back in the game.
Adams we hardly knew ye.........
Shoulda left Duffey in for the save
Twins in make-up games.
Baltimore -- 16-7, 8 homers
Detroit -- 8-3, 2 homers
Anaheim -- 16-7, 8 homers
