It's June 10th today, but I suppose it could also be March 5th.

I halfheartedly endorse today's COC.
Shouldn't it be a little over halfheartedly?
I had a response all typed out, but I think the site ate it. What the frak, Sean?
hmm, nothing in spam. well, eXXXcept an ad.
"If you don't want me to watch the ball, go get it out of the ocean." might be my favorite bit of baseball trash talk of this decade.
I'm trying to decide if I like it more because it makes absolutely no sense.
That's absolutely part of it for me
Yeah, I was checking that out last night. Bumgarner does not look good in the coverage of it. The hitter was hardly showboating at all. I would love to see someone give Bumgarner some crap anytime he fist pumps after a strikeout. He said something to the effect of 'Yeah, they say we gotta let players be themselves, but that goes for me to. It is who I am to confront the batter." Again, not an exact quote but something like that.
For the last 20+ years, we have been car camping the 2nd weekend of June at a different MN state park each year.
This year, St. Croix State Park, about an hour and a half north of NBB's MN crib, so not a bad commute. But the group camps there were like a mown field in a barely drained swamp. Smoke from the fire seemed to help. Deet+ also.
From the minute we got there, to the minute we left, we were scourged by an aerial barrage of mosquitoes, black flies, and gnats (black flies).
On Saturday we had high winds (thank you Baby Jeebus), but on Sunday, it was CU-buy fams! You can skip this state park.
That park is notorious for its wretched mosquito population.
We went camping at the peak of mayfly season a few years back. Fun.
Pa & I took my dog, a Husky, to the BWCA once. Black flies laid their larvae in her ears. I felt terrible for her.
Dubs. Maaan.
Well, they ARE still the champs.
Kawhi, though. Damn. If not this year, I hope he stays in Toronto. That is a pretty damn good team, and he is ridiculous.
So, on Saturday, I trimmed well over a hundred branches off my spruce trees, maples and birch. I cannot abide branches getting in the way of a good mowing. Tonight I started burning them in my fire pit. Started at 8 and still going. Luckily., the boy got home at 10 and took over cutting them down and feeding the fire. Nordeast + bonfire = happiness.
RESPECT.
I trimmed a yardwaste can full off my magnolia two weekends ago. I hate ducking under branches to mow.

Gotta act like you've been there before.

When it comes to things on the field, Bumgarner seems like a more talented Jack Morris.
I really want to know what the ump was saying to him. And on the flip side, what he could have possibly been complaining about to the ump.

I'm a little more surprised to see Cron in 2nd for first base.
I use the CTRL-Enter shortcut to send my emails and I use the ALT-Spacebar shortcut (h/t DG) to send my LTEs. I confuse these two constantly.
I've do ALT-S for emails and Tab-space for LTEs. Enter is reserved for Slack and CTRL-Enter for multiple lines. Shortcuts everywhere.
Sorry, you're right, I use TAB-Spacebar.
I'm big on the shortcuts. If you're a MS user, there's all sort of great shortcuts with the Windows key.
Thoughts and prayers for the Ortiz family.
