Lachlan Wells is solid for the Miracle.  Gabe Snyder homers to lead the Kernels, with Erik Cha making a fine debut there.

The Bats scored two in the sixth to take a 3-0 lead and never led by less than two after that.  Ramon Flores was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk and is batting .382.  Alejandro De Aza was 2-for-4 and is batting .337.  Kohl Stewart struck out four in four shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Jake Reed retired all four men he faced, striking out two.  The Red Wings are 60-59, tied for second, five games back.

Jose Miranda's RBI double in the fifth broke a 1-1 tie.  Lachlan Wells pitched six innings, giving up an unearned run on three hits and two walks and striking out one.  Moises Gomez struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up a walk.  The Miracle is 26-25, in fourth place, 10.5 games back.

CEDAR RAPIDS 4, BELOIT 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Gabe Snyder homered in the fifth to break a 2-2 tie.  Gilberto Celestino was 2-for-4 with a home run (his ninth), two runs, and two RBIs.  Yunior Severino was 2-for-4.  Snyder was 1-for-4 and the home run was his fifteenth.  Andrew Cabezas pitched six innings, giving up two runs on three hits and no walks and striking out four.  Erik Cha made his Class A debut and pitched three shutout innings, giving up two hits and striking out one.  The Kernels are 29-20, tied for second, four games back.

PULASKI 7, ELIZABETHTON 4 IN ELIZABETHTON

Saul Torres hit a three-run homer in a four-run first and the Yankees never trailed.  Charles Mack was 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, and two RBIs.  Parker Phillips was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer (his fourth) and a walk.  Osiris German struck out five in 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Benjamin Dum struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.  The Twins are 26-25, in second place, one game back.
