The Red Wings scored four in the first, five in the second, two in the third, and nine in the sixth.  Tomas Telis was 4-for-4 with two doubles, two walks, two runs, and six RBIs.  He is batting .313.  Willians Astudillo was 3-for-5 with three runs.  He is batting .500.  Wilin Rosario was 3-for-5 with two runs.  He is batting .306.  Ronald Torreyes was 3-for-6 with a home run (his eleventh), a double, and two runs.  Ramon Flores was 3-for-6 with a triple, three runs, and three RBIs.  Kohl Stewart pitched five shutout innings, giving up two hits and striking out two.  Zack Littell pitched 2.1 perfect innings and struck out one.  Jake Reed struck out all three batters he faced.  The Red Wings are 65-64, in fourth place, four games back.

The Braves scored all three of their runs in the sixth inning.  Alex Kirilloff was 2-for-3 with a walk.  Jimmy Kerrigan was 1-for-3 with a home run, his ninth.  Adam Bray pitched four shutout innings, giving up three hits and three walks and striking out three.  His ERA is 2.38.  Anthony Vizcaya pitched two shutout innings and struck out one.  His ERA is 0.92.  The Blue Wahoos are 33-26, in third place, three games back.

FORT MYERS 5, CHARLOTTE 2 IN FORT MYERS

The Miracle scored three in the first and led all the way.  Trey Cabbage was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.  Andrew Bechtold was 2-for-4.  Jordan Balazovic struck out seven in 4.2 innings, giving up two runs on three hits and a walk.  Melvi Acosta struck out three in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up four hits.  His ERA is 2.93.  Yennier Cano struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.  The Miracle is 32-28, in third place, nine games back.

CLINTON 6, CEDAR RAPIDS 0 IN CLINTON

The LumberKings scored four in the first.  Trevor Casanoa was 2-for-3.  Matt Canterino struck out five in five innings, giving up four runs (two earned--two scored on a passed ball-plus-error) on two hits and two walks.  His ERA is 1.80.  The Kernels are 32-27, tied for fourth, six games back.

Leading 4-1, the Twins scored eight in the third.  Max Smith was 3-for-5 with a grand slam (his seventh homer), a double, a walk, and three runs.  He is batting .304.  Trevor Jensen was 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs, and two RBIs.  Ruben Santana was 2-for-4 with two walks and two RBIs.  Parker Phillips was 2-for-5 with two runs.  Janigson Villalobos was 2-for-5.  Ryley Widell struck out seven in six innings, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks.  Steven Cruz pitched three innings, giving up an unearned run on one hit and striking out two.  His ERA is 2.79.  The Twins are 29-32, in fourth place, 2.5 games back.

GCL ORIOLES 13, GCL TWINS 3 AT ORIOLES

Trevor Kehe hit a grand slam in a six-run Orioles first.  The Twins had just four hits.  Bradley Hanner struck out five in 3.1 innings of relief, giving up one run on one hit and two walks.  The Twins are 28-19, in second place, 5.5 games back.  They lead the wild card race by 1.5 games.

DSL CARDINALS BLUE 8, DSL TWINS 6 AT CARDINALS BLUE

Darlin Moquete hit a three-run homer in a five-run second that gave the Cardinals a 6-3 lead.  Nelson Roberto was 4-for-5 with a two-run homer (his sixth) and two runs.  Jeury Lopez was 0-for-2 with three walks.  Moises Causado struck out two in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up three hits and two walks.  The Twins are 23-40, in seventh place, nineteen games back.
