We’ve gotten to the part of the year where the boy starts getting his lunch at school. Saves me a good 7-10 minutes each morning.

This article from FanGraphs is about the Cardinals, but it includes fielding from all teams in 2019. The Twins are third in making outs from range, and easily dead last in giving them back with errors.
Still, Twins' fourth place position in WP are a long ways from the Angels -- we have work to do.
I just noticed, Houston has not IBB anyone this year; league average is 23 (Twins: 9)
We've only IBB-ed 9 guys and one of them is Greg Allen?
Twins haven't won a game that they IBB-ed someone since June 22. Of course, they've only had 3 games in which they IBB-ed someone in that time.
5-6 months for recovery, so no guarantee he'll be ready to start Opening Day next year.
Pineda knew about failed test 2 months ago. Did the Twins know about this before the trade deadline and therefore could have traded for a starter, for instance, traded Buxton for Thor?
No. The team isn't allowed to know until the very end. Some officials learned the day of his final start.
The team, however, is the last to know. The Twins were not informed Pineda had failed a test until early Friday evening. So a handful of Twins officials knew Friday that Pineda was making his last start of 2019.
Makes sense. If team knows, it's very hard for it not to get leaked to the press, especially over 2 months.
that said, you don't think he has an obligation to mention it to his team?
Man, this is a tough one. There are probably union issues, too
Appeals process keeps it secret because if the player can prove a false positive, he wouldn't want it known publicly.
In July I was more envisioning a postseason rotation of Berrios, Odorizzi, and Gibson. Not sure that news of Pineda being suspended would have made me more likely to overpay.
Tonight's Nats' starting lineup has 162 HR on the year; Twins' 144
Oh, and Astudillo, btw, since we get no points for picking "none"

Sounds like Buxton is out for the year.
d@mmit, talk about limping towards the post season
i blame torii hunter.
So 2 of the Twins' top 10 in rWAR are out for the playoffs.
Just noticed that Schoop is listed ahead of Rosario (11 and 12 in WAR) on the Twins' B-Ref page.
He's now on the 60-day IL, so definitely done for the season. Gibson is back and so is Torreyes.
Gibson being back could be huge.
Good Gibby being back could be hugerer

Yelich with a fractured kneecap, so that should clinch the MVP for Bellinger.
It's going around: Yelich out for the season after fouling a ball off his knee and fracturing it.
