So I hear the local amateur handegg squad is pretty good this year.

Wisconsin has been exposed the last two weeks. Minnesota's opportunity for exposure is coming like a Mack truck. Home vs Number 6 Penn State in two weeks, then at Number 20 Iowa. I doubt Minnesota will be favored against either, although both lines should be close.
Common opponents between Minnesota and Penn State:
Purdue: Minnesota won 38-31 on the road; PSU won 35-7 at home.
Maryland: Minn won 52-10 at home; PSU won 59-0 on the road.
Common opponents between Minnesota and Iowa:
Rutgers: Minnesota won 42-7 on the road; Iowa won 30-0 at home
Purdue: Minnesota won 38-31 on the road; Iowa won 26-20 at home
PSU beat Iowa 17-12 at Iowa.
The freshest edition of SP+ ratings (which, among other things, can be used as a spread predictor) suggest that Penn State should be a 2-point road favorite at Minnesota and Minnesota should be a 2-point road favorite at Iowa (home field is worth about 3 points). The prediction for the latter game should adjust somewhat after the Penn State-Minnesota week, when Iowa also plays at Wisconsin (where they should be about 10-point dogs).
Prior to this year, when's the last time Minnesota was ranked higher than Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa at the same time?

When did team rankings start?
The AP Poll started in 1936 and the Coaches Poll in 1950. My guess without exhaustive searching is their last national championship.
probably 1962
Max Scherzer will not start tonight's game.
Boo.
I think the streak of teams winning when starting 2-0 may end.
Karl Anthony Towns is good at basketball.
Props to Wiggins, he caught fire down the stretch.
That was unexpected
82-0!
