It was unseasonably warm yesterday and I saw my first baseball of the year. Spring doesn't seem that far away.

Considering your forecast for tomorrow, you maaaaaaaybe should have waited for this one? (I get to drive down to O'Hare tomorrow evening. Yay!)
Nah, I knew that was coming. I'm used to the mirage of spring, but it felt closer for a brief moment.
I just wanted to mention how (road) salty I am that this storm is supposed to hit on the day I need to drive through it.
I've hit Wisconsin blizzards 3 out of my last 4 trips back from MN. Likely the only reason it wasn't 4 in a row was it was July.
Bold presumption 🙂
I said "likely".
What kind of a reason is that??
The 10-day forecast for Minneapolis features mostly above average high temperatures with just a few snow flurries, less than an inch accumulation. Compared to last February, that's a can of corn.
sean mentioned it last night, but I can't imagine that the front office is pleased about this (sorry, behind paywall so not sure if that's addressed).
I couldn't find a non-paywall version quickly, but the title and opening paragraph say enough. Came out today that current Diamondbacks GM was not aware of Mr. Saunders.
At least he wasn't "washing his truck." That shit is dangerous.
Shaq tells a story about telling Kobe there's no I in team, and Kobe said "I know, but here's an M and an E in that motherf*cker" pic.twitter.com/PTRarVYOpy

Keith Law came out with his Top 100 prospects today for The Athletic. It's kind of good news/bad news for the Twins. Good news is that Brusdar Graterol did not make the list. Bad news is neither did all but just 3 Twins prospects and Royce Lewis was all the way down to No. 31 after being pretty much consensus Top 10 last year. Kiriloff is 9. Jordan Balazovic was No. 69. Trevor Larnach is the most notable omission. MLB Pipeline has him at 77, right behind Balazovic.
Baseball America, MLB and BP all had Royce in the 20s pre-2018, top ten pre-2019. If he is back in the 20s/30s, is that him or a sign that the ratings are not all that stable?
Him. He had an awful year last year before turning it on in the fall league.
Agreed. The reviews all mention his poor swing mechanics. That he's rated this high is because he's demonstrated a willingness to do the work to improve.
