Finally figured out how to listen to a certain video streaming service's stand-up library on my phone with headphones only, don't have to play video at the same time. Sooo, yeah, I had a productive weekend.

Question about the polls I'm using for the Moments bracket for those in the know. Can I include a poll from one post in another post and the poll will just be ongoing? Like, when I get to the #2 seed and #15 seed, I'm thinking of putting all eight polls in one post for people who missed one or want to do them all at once. I just don't want anything double counted.
get sean to confirm, but i don't see why votes would be double counted. they all seem to go to the same "database", so i'm guessing anywhere the poll is posted goes to there. however this is pure speculation so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
guess what, sean confirmed!
we're just in sync like
that.
okay, sean was supposed to pop up right away and type "that". we'll work on it.
Yes. The polls are independent of the posts. There's a shortcode for them, so copy that to the new post and it will display the same.
I know it won't count for your brackef, but one of my favorite Twins Moments was while standing on the top of a fire hydrant in a crowded street in Saint Paul (maybe 6th?) watching Puckett riding in a convertible wearing a fur bomber hat during the parade after the World Series win.
Lost in all the homerun hubbub from last year, I don't think I heard anyone note that Kepler set a new team record for homeruns in a season by a lefty.
I've watched part one of Jon Bois' Seattle Mariners series. I see What We Do in the Shadows comes back next month, and Justin Roiland has a new series Solar Opposites in May, and some other stuff I'm forgetting -- folks are getting stuff in the pipeline for everyone. And then there's this:
Bortles!
Well, after telling fifteen co-workers today about my employee's death I'm pretty drained.
I can still remember the first time I had to tell someone a loved one had passed. It is definitely a hard thing to do.
That was the hardest part of Elaine’s death and nothing else was even close.
I live in the flight path of a major hospital in New Orleans and traffic has been busy tonight.
Reading the Country Messenger (Scandia newspaper) and noticed this ad in the back:
Wanted to Buy
ALL 1970S MOTORCYCLES
Running or not. Titled or not. Prices will fall soon. Sell now while prices are high!
A super specific price gouge.
OK. In the Messenger, they always have a crossword puzzle, and also the answers, smaller and upside-down to the left (yes I do cheat once in a while).
In this week's edition, the crossword is completely filled out with the answers, and the Answers upside-down section is completely blank.
It's like that postage stamp where the airplane is upside down. Collector's Edition!
