My mind always goes to this when I hear the name Little Richard now.
2019 was a turd of a year for the slaughterhouse, this year isn’t starting much better.
Anyone else read the profile of Joey Votto in last month’s Atlantic? I really enjoyed imagining him cracking a beer at Whole Foods at 3 pm.
Good news, Twins fans! I just got an ad on Instagram for these.
Profiteering. Oh, wait - pro sports, that's a given.
Yeah, but if you’re gonna wear something and you want to like it?
Also, 3/$25 doesn’t seem so bad.
I think I just fixes my dishwasher - without going to homdepot - o_0
Allen wrench?
pipe wrench!
sweet jesus, the autocorrects failed me big time. Cautiously optimistic that my float valve stem was not tightened properly and nothing more was wrong. I'll let you know how my hardwood floors feel in the morning.
*crosses fingers*
I'm watching Love and Death and there's an absurdly long discussion of jejune.
For any night owls, there's KBO baseball that's not insanely late. Twins vs. Dinos.
I'm glad the games are on, but I wish they'd pay more attention to them while they're showing them. With the numerous interviews and host chat, it often feels like the game is just being used as a backdrop for a talk show. I understand why they're doing it, but if someone's interested enough to watch a ball game from Korea in the wee hours of the morning, it seems to me that there's a pretty good chance they want to see the game, not a talk show.
I imagine that they feel like they have to work overtime trying to acclimate viewers to the culture and players of the KBO, but I agree with you.
That, plus the fact that I want to be able to follow one particular team have led me to watching the Korean language broadcasts. The crack of the bat and excitement of the announcers' voice when someone stripes one to the gap transcends language.
RIP, Little Richard. 2020 keeps getting worse.

YMMV, of course.
