Now I don't know what to believe about (MLB) baseball this year.

According to my Facebook memories, I was enjoying a Philly Cheesesteak and watching Nick Blackburn get shelled ten years ago today in Philadelphia.
The cheesesteak was good! Blackburn wasn't.
Pete's sakes...bS and Philo in 3, 2, 1...

But since you mention it...I did once (nineish years ago) go to Philly for a game and a Cheesesteak, not in that order. Both were pretty darn good. Good times.
I saw a Phillies-Pirates game at the Vet back in early 2003. No recollection of my meal.
I saw someone at our local Costco using a Homer Hanky as a mask. Not something I expected to see out here!
Only works well at home, not on the road.
dude, THIS IS TWINS TERRITORY
My sandwich today was exceptional. 12 grain, smoked ham and turkey, iceberg sheets, mayo + green chili, and cojack.
For the last two days I had small sandwiches with leftover tri-tip, provolone, mayo, a touch of worcestershire sauce, and a bunch of horseradish on a dinner roll. If I had more tri-tip, I'd probably have one again today.
also mmmm. Tri-tip rocks.
I took some leftover BBQ chashu pork and added it to a toasted wheat english muffin with red pepper, onion, and melted southwestern cheese blend. Was upset when I found out I didn't have any greens to add.
Now I wish I could eat the char siu from Unideli. (Even though it used to be better)
mmmmm.
Yesterday for supper I had a hamburger sandwich. Lunch today is a classic PB&J.
today for lunch I had a hot dog. In a bun. Not a f&($#Y(&@# sandwich!
I'm sure this is true for a lot of households growing up, but hotdog wasn't just an entree at our house - it was an ingredient. We'd have hotdogs cut up and put in beans, chili, pancakes, croissant dough, bread dough... and I've definitely eaten a hotdog plain with a fork. Or maybe it was just my household. Not a big fan of hotdogs these days.
We would have creamed hot dogs. Wasn't bad.
My grand-grandma would make me wiener sandwiches as a kid. I think it was just two hot dogs halved and put between two pieces of buttered toast. Something like that at least. A 6 year old Joe loved them.

Little beanie weenies!!!!
I think that's something that I discovered at the Alma Mater food service, but maybe had it in high school lunches too.
Also, sauerkraut hot dog casserole
I had an open-face hummus sandwich with cucumber rounds on top.
That's not a sandwich, it's a salad. Or possibly a dip?
I once made a peanut-butter and salsa sandwich. In my defense, I was cutting weight; not thinking clearly and was desperate for flavor. Not my finest hour.
You're just jealous.
I love me hummus. But open faced? There is no jealousy involved in my assessment, I assure you.
Ever try an open-face salmon dip? I rather enjoy that.
Is that like bobbing for apples, only with fish instead of fruit?
exactly like that
I posed the six-sandwich challenge to my quasi retired-dudes on the Thursday night Happy hour.
Ross (not his real name, OK it is) - Butter sandwich.
Max's wife - I don't really eat bread.
Source confirms: Playersβ union preparing counter-proposal of around 70 games. MLB offered 60 on Tuesday. First: @JeffPassan and @JesseRogersESPN
This experiment of a fish swimming upstream is truly stunning. Why? The fish is dead. If you're streamlined and flexible, you can do a lot by doing nothing at all.

A hot dog in a sandwich would be unusual.
How about this?
That's unusual.
