I never got the schedule together yet, so I'll make one more call for the Best of 2020 videos. Get 'em in by this afternoon.

This is really good on the Cleveland Baseball team continuing to sell Chief Wahoo merch after the name change.

It was such a sudden, abrupt change. Can't just force shops to stop selling and have to give them plenty and plenty of time to clear out their inventory.
It'll also give you a nice visual indication of people to avoid.
I get that, but Cleveland owner says they will continue to sell Wahoo items into the foreseeable future.
Sorry, I made the sarcasm too subtle.
I read it right away as sarcasm.
Yeah, I should've seen it.
The team could offer to buy existing stock back and destroy it,
Not like MLB teams aren't worth billions.
Baseball doing something good
From a slack channel:
Does he have any influence on the governor?
Not from what I've heard...
I think your feeling and concern is justified. Why not permit what seems obviously reasonable? I just wonder if we are incapable of handling this kind of nuance, as a society.
I think this is a "baby with the bathwater" situation
Personally, it hits hard because my daughter is a senior and this is the only chance she'll have to possibly make varsity in a sport.
In the grand scheme of things, not a life or death thing but when you can't really understand the logic of the decision, it makes it tough.
Just a heads up to this wonderful community we have going here. I will once again be going "dark" for an extended period of time. This place is sometimes my place to say things I probably shouldn't say in my hometown. Some of those things could stray into the forbidden zone in these parts and I would hate to write something in the heat of the moment that might offend someone or start a heated discussion that would not be healthy for us all. For those of you who follow on facebook, please try to place yourself in my shoes before you judge to harshly. See y'all on the other side.
Best of luck, zoom. You've been facing some impossibly unfair circumstances with incredible grace.
Ditto this. Your posts on FB provide a much-appreciated thoughtful approach, and I wish you the best. Good luck.
Congrats, Dustin Morse
