The Twins using the running game, with "Wheels" Cruz legging out an infield single and Kirilloff getting a hustle double.
Technically that's his first MLB hit.
We've got our two. Hope it doesn't stay there the rest of the game.
There are no actual puns in Dick's "break the baseball pun record" ad.
Alanis Morissette would say that's ironic.
Sounds like we paid the price for not having an actual outfielder in the outfield.
Well, we're going to have to score more than two this game.
Don't like the pitching change. Berrios still looked sharp after that silly walk. If they were playing an outfielder in the outfield, he might have been out of the inning already.
He fell behind Luplow before the groundout and Ramirez lined out. He fell behind Rosario and I thought the double was going farther than it did and then he left an 0-2 pitch up to Reyes. Certainly, the double probably should have been caught, but I wouldn't say he was still sharp. Robles got a quick out, so hopefully, they'll leave him in for the 7th.
As is usually the case, two runs won't be enough, even against the Indians.
I don't know, but Cory and Kris made it sound like Rocco didn't really want to take Berrios out, but forgot it was the second trip to the mound. If so, that would be a pretty bad mistake for a manager to make.
Agreed. Although, I don't ever recall Baldelli going out to the mound just to talk to the pitcher and not pulling him unless he went out there with a trainer.
There were several comments from the squawkers that this is what happened.
Dan Hayes of the Athletic said the same thing on Twitter that Baldelli intended to leave Berrios in the game.

Give to me your leather, Take from me, your
lace.
Arraez makes up for his miscue with the RBI hit. And we have more than two runs!
Yah, we has Arraezed.
91 Pitches for the Plestack.
Up by a run in the eighth. With our bullpen, that should be no problem, right?
Um, no.
Well, it's not a problem anymore.
Our "defensive replacement" in left field has played all of 16 major league games in the outfield. He did play an additional 68 in the minors.
So now our plan is to hold them in the ninth, then win in extra innings. What could go wrong?
Did Attebury just say that was in his Wampum Zone? Tone def, dude.
I'd like to beg for no Manfred Rule ending, but the alternative isn't good either.
I starting watching the game in the bottom 9th so you can thank me for the loss
Thanks
Yah. Fundamentals, baby.
Contact play works for us!
Wiggle wiggle
Speed at second, at least
Strike 2 on Jeffers should have been ball 2
Nice performance by the bottom of the order. I've seen this movie before.
He Who Also Shall Not Be Named
Some artists really don’t need a tribute act.
The Twins have now played five tenth innings. They have failed to score in four of them. I find that inexcusable.
G.O.S.O.
The commenters on Twins Daily posts tomorrow are going to need rabies shots.
At least that cat at 2-bag didn't matter.
At least the runner on second only makes the run differential worse.
Twins still aren't paying attention to my post tags I see...
I don't mean to kick a guy when he's down, but Colome is simply not getting the job done right now. At some point, Rocco has to acknowledge that.
Seriously. That's on the front office too, and everyone needs to just move on.
The Wolves are playing well tonight at least!!!!11
