According to a past FB post of mine, Byron Buxton played his first MLB game on/around this date in 2015. Since then, I think he's managed to play in a season's worth of games or so.
Missed it by one or two days. I was at one of the games in STL right after the debut.
Minor Details has been posted.

Well, how about that?
Fitting it's your post as you're responsible for near half of them (you're up to 8,672).
And it's made it even more difficult for the rest of us to bring down the quality to half-baked
I clock in at #2 in total posts, and am sure trying my best.
I'm at 232. I would have guessed closer to 100
264 here. But this site was around for a long time before I showed up (then again, my 1st post was 2013... have I really been around that long? Wow.).
I only clock in at 200, which seems low but looking back I've been mostly a bench player who gets a start here and there. I do a lot of yelling from the dugout, though.
NBA Playoffs
Suns eliminate Denver in 4. Just like I said last week, this was not going to be a competitive series and PHX dominated pretty much every game. The fourth game saw the MVP of the league being ejected for flagrant foul. Meanwhile, Chris Paul, hurt in the first game against LAL, was an absolute killer. No Jamal Murray really hurt DEN, but I'm bullish on the Suns now. They look like a team that could win it all. They have Paul, Booker, and Ayton along some other really nice pieces. Paul is a fully realized superstar.
UTA-LAC is 2-1 Jazz with game 4 tonight. I think that LAC are still the favorites in this series, but a ton rides on tonight. UTA can grab this by the throat with a win in game 4. These games have been phenomenal to watch. The shotmaking. The shotmaking. I think PHX can beat either of these teams, and I"m leaning on PHX being the overall favorite in the west if for no other reason that they are already through the second round. The winner of this series will be a formidable challenge, though, but if the series goes 7, PHX will be rested.
MIL-BKN is 2-2 and there have been some seismic shifts here. Harden has played less than a minute in the series and Kyrie got hurt on Sunday. The Bucks have the upper hand now if those two can't go. We will see. There's been a lot of focus on Giannis and for a guy that's won 2 MVPs, he seems like he needs a good coach to explain to him the game. He's 4-31 from three and shooting 62% from two. He needs to stop jacking up 3s when there's nothing else available to him. He has teammates. Just watching the master class that Chris Paul has put on in this second round, you see the vast gulf in basketball IQ between these two guys. If MIL wins this series, which they might, I think PHX's chances of a title go up, as I doubt that MIL can handle what Paul and Booker have ready for them (this assumes, of course that PHX gets out of the west, not a given). As for BKN, you know, injuries are a part of the game. There's a ton of talent in those top three guys, but if you aren't on the floor, you don't help.
PHI-ATL is 2-1 6ers and I think that PHI wins again tonight and puts a choke hold on this series. ATL is fun and they'll get better, but PHI is in win-now mode and they will dispatch the Hawks in short order. I think PHI would be favored against the Bucks, but it would be close, and I think if BKN comes in hobbled, PHI is favored then, too.
Likelihood to win the title as of right now, in my opinion:
1. PHX
2. PHI
3. LAC
4. UTA
5. MIL
6. BKN
7. ATL
I, definitely a non-NBA follower, was under the impression that Chris Paul had been declared washed up.
Was OKC just a terrible fit?
He wasn't bad at all with OKC and they made it to the playoffs last year. But, they want to rebuild and he had 3-$123 million left on his deal, so they traded him to PHX. His regular season numbers aren't what they've been, but he's still a very good player (5th in MVP balloting) and he was tremendous in this second round, averaging over 25 points and 10 assists while shooting 62 percent from the field and with an assist to turnover ratio of 41:5.
He's so smart on the court. The mistakes are few and far between. He knows exactly what his strengths are and he plays to them all the time.
Oooh -- apparently the Queen bestowed a CBE title to Rick Wakeman and Alan Parsons, among others, on Friday.
The Sir Alan Parsons Project.
well, they weren't knighted, but Jonathan Pryce was...
I didn’t realize that only the highest two classes were permitted the Sir/Dame style.
Bryan Ferry & all three Bee Gees (Sir Barry?!) are all a CBE, but Jeff Lynne is merely an OBE? The Queen’s musical taste seems questionable.
Mick Jagger got his knighthood, but the queen wasn't there, Charles did the honors. Reportedly, the queen was non-plussed at Mick's alleged friendliness with her sister. Keith Richards is not going to be knighted.
Richards said he did not want to go on stage with someone wearing a "coronet and sporting the old ermine" and told the singer it was a "paltry honour".
"It sent out the wrong message. It's not what the Stones is about, is it?" Richards told Uncut magazine.
Buxton, even being out for a month, has the third most votes among AL outfielders. He should be back soon so hopefully that will keep him in the top three so he will be a starter.
The flushed-faced guy wearing a camo visor paired with the Red Dog hockey sweater & shorts really says it all.
That reminds me, when did cutoff jean shorts become a thing again? I hadn't seen it much for many years, now they're everywhere.
Jorts? Yeah, brah.
I like the mom in the upper right. She clearly didn't want to be in that section.
Its awesome and all and my second thought is that's a lot of money spent on beers unless they are reused cups from Saturday game
It's a lot of Old Style, for sure.
Went down to George Floyd square today. Lots of emotion. There was a pretty decent crowd of people paying respect and a small brass band quietly playing across the street. All the feels.

Keef has made his opinion on Sir Mick’s knighthood clear:

It sounds like Buxton and Arraez are making the road trip but so far they aren't officially reinstated. That could come later today.
Ahh, Wrigley...
Given that it was Wrigley, before the video thumbnail loaded I was imagining a toilet snake adapted for use in beer tap lines.
There was a pretty decent one at Target Field the other day, but not that long.
