        1. He's become a superstar in the Australian League. In 2019 he batted .345/.394/.662. Last year he batted .400/.440/.620.

  1. I sure wish there was more than one ball game being played tonight. But at least they're showcasing a couple of teams that don't usually get much publicity.

  2. I tuned into the Bucks-Suns last night with great timing - about 10 seconds after Giannis' block.

  3. Early evening farm report:

St. Paul leads Columbus 1-0 in the third. The run came on a homer by Mark Contreras, his ninth. Chandler Shepherd has thrown three shutout innings.
Wichita is in a rain delay against Tulsa.
Cedar Rapids leads South Bend 1-0 in the seventh. Louie Varland has thrown six shutout innings in his High-A debut.
Fort Myers gave up seven runs in the first extra inning and lost to Jupiter 9-2 in the first game of a doubleheader. The seven runs scored on one hit, as Mighty Mussels pitchers walked five and hit two. Another man reached on catcher's interference. Game two is scoreless in the first inning.

    1. I had to read through those plays…

Runner starts on 2nd, wild pitch, BB, catcher’s interference, sac fly (run), double steal, HBP, single (2 runs), BB, BB (run), K, BB (run), BB (run), HBP (run), ground out.

  4. I just read through the Twins latest injury report. Next time I get that urge I'll just read some Sylvia Plath poems instead.
