Charlie Barnes
vs
Luis Castillo
Charlie Barnes returns to finish off the two-game series against the Reds. He started the first game of a doubleheader against Detroit before heading back to St. Paul for two more starts. He's had an unremarkable year in AAA but had a good spot start in Detroit. Let's hope he can do that again.
Turns out all Polanco needed to be good at baseball was functional ankles. Who knew!
Good Polanco is fun to watch.
Now 2020 looks like the outlier with 2019 and 2021 the norm. He kept his lower strikeout rate from 2020 but then also managed to up his walk rate closer to 2019.
maybe he just likes odd-numbered years.
Not liking 2020 is a pretty non-controversial stance.
All too quickly turning into not liking 202x.
Omar Minaya might be the new inning eater
He has a fondness for at least two of the three true outcomes
*or Juan
Am I the only one who has never warmed to Beau Burrows?
I wish he was a quarter as good as Cincy QB Joe Burrows
👀👀👀👀👀
I'm hoping Josh isn't being brought in to be the designated DP again...
HORRIBLE third strike call
Ump with a wide zone today.
Probably running late to a Skyline Chili meal
Or...from?
Welp, we can lean on Jose can tie it up in the 9th, I guess
Arraez on base 5 times today.
.310/.375/.399 for the season
.350/.395/.479 since coming back from the IL in mid-June (33 games)
