The Saints scored six runs in the first inning. The runs scored on just two hits, both singles, as St. Paul drew six walks.
Batting stars: Jimmy Kerrigan was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs. Drew Maggi was 2-for-3.
Pitching stars: Joe Ryan struck out nine in four innings, giving up one run on one hit and one walk. Ryan Mason struck out five in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit. Chris Nunn pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out one.

The Wind Surge scored two in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead.
Batting stars: Roy Morales was 3-for-5. Aaron Whitefield was 2-for-4. Leobaldo Cabrera was 1-for-3 with a home run (his seventh), a walk, and two RBIs. He has homered in three consecutive games and five of his last six games.
Pitching stars: Evan Sisk struck out five in 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk. Jordan Gore struck out three in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up three walks.
Opposition stars: Ivan Herrera was 2-for-5 with a home run (his twelfth) and a double. Irving Lopez was 2-for-5. Cory Thompson pitched 3.2 innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk and striking out three.
Starter: Cole Sands pitched 1.1 innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks and striking out one. He apparently left due to injury, but I have no information about that injury.
