  1. I don't get MLB Network, but I see the broadcasters are Bob Costas, Jim Kaat, and Buck Showalter. I suspect many lawns are being protected.

    1. Dude's got a RedBull with a Doppio chaser. I'm bailing over to the Pale Hosers - they've got a cage match going.

  2. I see that Angel Hernandez is one of the umpires for the Giants/Dodgers series. Apparently the assignments are not made based on merit.

  3. South Side is melting like the Mozzarella balls I put on the smoker earlier today. A cheese disaster.

  4. Efficient pitching by Morton. 77 pitches to finish six scoreless innings with nine strikeouts.

  5. A couple of good ball games today. The first one became a blowout at the end, but was good most of the way. And this one is actually a pitchers' duel.

  6. Red Sox scored two first inning runs only to give up five, including a grand slam, in the bottom half.

  7. Matt Wisler pitching now for the Rays. He had a pretty good year with Tampa. He might get a ring no matter what in a Giants-Rays World Series.

  8. This is why you don't let fans be next to the home run boundary. I think it still counts and his catching it made it look like he was grown-up Jeffrey Maier.
