Minor Details: Games of April 16

This is not complete, but I probably won't be able to get back to it until tomorrow, so I'm publishing what I've got.

ST. PAUL 16, INDIANAPOLIS 13 IN ST. PAUL

The Saints trailed 8-0 after an inning and a half.  A three-run seventh put them ahead 14-12.

Jermaine Palacios was 4-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk, and four runs.
Royce Lewis was 3-for-5 with a triple, a double, and two runs.
Jose Miranda was 3-for-5 with a double, four RBIs, and two runs.
Curtis Terry was 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and two runs.
Derek Fisher was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer (his second), a walk, and two runs.

Starter Lewis Thorpe pitched 1.2 innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and two walks and striking out two.
Jake Petricka pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and striking out one.

The Saints are 7-3, in second place in the International League West, a half game behind Columbus.

WICHITA 6, NORTHWEST ARKANSAS 5 IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (10 INNINGS)

The Wind Surge scored two in the tenth and held on.  They had sixteen hits, all singles.

Austin Martin was 3-for-4 with two walks and two runs.
Kevin Merrill was 3-for-5.
Dennis Ortega was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.
Michael Helman was 2-for-5.
Andrew Bechtold was 2-for-5.
Spencer Steer was 2-for-5.

Starter Chris Vallimont pitched 2.1 innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on two hits and five walks and striking out two.
Evan Sisk pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and striking out two.
Steven Cruz struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up two walks.
Argenis Angulo struck out five in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk.

The Wind Surge is 3-5, tied for fourth in the Texas League North, 2.5 games behind Tulsa.

CEDAR RAPIDS 10, QUAD CITIES 2 IN QUAD CITIES

Aaron Sabato hit a three-run homer in the first inning and the Kernels led all the way.

Jair Camargo was 4-for-5 with two home runs (his second and third),
Sabato was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, two runs, and five RBIs.
Anthony Prato was 2-for-5 with a walk, two runs, and two RBIs.
Will Holland was 2-for-5.
Christian Encarnacion-Strand was 2-for-6 with two runs.

Sawyer Gipson-Long struck out nine in five shutout innings, giving up three hits and no walks.
Derek Molina struck out four in two innings, giving up one hit.

The Kernels are 6-2, tied for first in the Midwest League West with Wisconsin.

JUPITER 6, FORT MYERS 2 IN FORT MYERS (6 INNINGS)

Javeon Cody hit a two-run homer in the second that gave the Hammerheads a 3-2 lead.

Kyler Fedco was 3-for-3 with a double.

The Mighty Mussels are 7-1, in first place in the Florida State League West, one game ahead of Bradenton.
