BWI! I was there last week and partook in their famous airport foods!
Enjoyed my trip out there in 2013, even though the O’s were out of town. Fort McHenry, soft shells & Natty Boh, good pho. Would gladly return for a diner tour & a game at Camden Yards.
Natty Bo and Yeungling. I don't do seafood but if I'm getting crab its near chesapeake bay.
When I lived in DC baltimore was a great baseball delight. Federal hill, pickles, street vendor food then baseball (typically Twins but O's games were a train ride away) in a great park.
Tyler Wells on pace to throw a 75 pitch shutout
Last time I was at Camden, the crowd started a chant 'Aaaallll-beeeerrrrtttttt', a frenzy. He hit a homer to the standing-only crowd. They threw it back on the field. Priceless.
Man I love Luis
Made a delicious batch of csirkepaprikás this afternoon, then whipped up some nokedli ten minutes before supper. Chicken is fine, but time I’m doing pork or lamb.
Please elaborate:
csirkepaprikás
nokedli
Chicken paprikash & Hungarian spätzle. I used a combo of sweet & half-sharp paprikas — just enough heat while not overwhelming the less heat-tolerant palates. It spent the duration of the Poissonnière’s piano lesson in the oven, and prep in between work tasks was a cinch.
NBBW made something a while back with smoked Hungarian paprika - I like heat/spicy, but it was difficult to eat.
I have a sachet of erős (strong) paprika from Hungary that has a pretty solid kick. I have to be careful with it because I slip into using it in regular paprika amounts. It’s not as hot as cayenne, but you can still overdo it.
Olivaesque AB, there Kep.
Man, my feed’s audio is nearly two seconds ahead of the video.
its real bad today
Just because you have the right to remain silent doesn't mean you have to be.
Larnach double, TM
on the board!
The ghost of Al Newman waved Larnach home.
Larnach being up in the majors to stay is okay with me.
That was one ugly slide at home, though.
He’s had a few of them. The slide back into second last week looked painful.
Im glad Gordon didnt run flush into that LCF wall . Seems kind of dangerous
I’m all for crazy outfield angles, but I’m surprised one that arbitrary and dangerous received approval from MLB.
Is it bad that my first thought was, "glad that wasnt Larnach or Buxton"
I was relieved it wasn’t Buxton. As it was, it looked like a collision was narrowly averted.
No like give-backs
Okay - 'pen unlocked
pitchers best friend!
Everyone liked that.
Pitcher's best friend.
Joe Smith to the rescue
Arráez was pretty jazzed about completing that double play.
I think Gordon is out because he barely came off the base on the bounce while the tag was still being applied
Certainly not one that could be overturned easily
Oh damn, forger the check swing, it was a strike anyway. Call it, ump
Couple batters later, but that was quite the makeup
Jax on, Jax off.
I'd prefer watching a reliever that wasn't all over the place
To be fair, he did strike the guy out.
Carlos Correa >>>>>> Andrelton Simmons
That's right.
I think the only thing that would have made me like Simmons less was if the Twins had traded a slugging corner outfielder to get him.
Aww, that poor bat didn’t do anything to deserve that.
I'd feel a lot better with some insurance runs.
We've got a couple guys in the lineup without hits tonight - let's fix that
Or not.
Duran – A View to a K
Duran - Ordinary Save
New Save on Monday
I'll take it
win streak!
I'm liking the nice, quick (and bat destroying) inning from Duran.
I found an "outlet of opportunity" especially so I could watch Jose's first AB.
Have to wait for next AB for his Shot.
The audio and video seem to be not in sync on BSN
Every game is a "what is BSN going to mess up today?" event.
it better work for the hockey I want no business watching them on ESPN
Things Baltimore:
Camden Yards a great gig.
O' hats suk.
Water taxis a hoot.
All the women there call me 'Hon'. What's not to like about that?
Babs McKulski has a great crab cake recipe: Key is to not over-stir the crab pieces.
Never been there, unless BWI counts
