  1. I got a kick out of this.

  2. There should be a TV show that's just all about banging a gong for some reason or another. But I have not idea what you'd call it.

  3. Huh, turns out Luis Arraez qualified for the leaderboards last night after all. He's tied for third in AL batting (.349) and in second place in OBP (.454) behind Taylor Ward, who also leads the league in BA.

      1. I got that from B-R, so true. But right now on MLB.com they have Arraez ranked first in the AL in OBP and tied for second with J.D. Martinez for BA, so he must qualify now or he wouldn't be there, and it's Ward who doesn't qualify.

        1. Looks like the Twins have the highest team OBP in the league with Arraez raising the curve. 4th in batting and OPS, 5th in slugging. On the pitching side the Twins are 3rd in runs allowed, 4th in earned runs, 5th in ERA, and 5th in strikeouts.

      1. The proposed solution happened at Uvalde and well, we can see how well that worked out.
