I was supposed to be in trial all week up north, but opposing counsel caught covid on Sunday night. Now, with an unexpected week of free time, in back at Target Field 12 hours after I left last night. Of course, I forgot a hat, so I'm just standing in the shade...

On our way home after a week with my parents. We didn't get the kayaks out Because Reasons, but managed to clear a lot of brush, downed a couple trees damaged in a big windstorm last month (there's LOTS of downed trees in the area due to "tornadic winds"), and mrsS almost completely weeded their garden.
We did manage a brief stop at Rapids Brewing in Grand Rapids. Nice spot, but the beer is just ok. Much better beer at Klockow, but no outside sweetie g ["sweetie g"? WTF? seating] so that got nixed.
White Sox - Guardians split. Best possible scenario.
