  1. Contemporary HOF ballot announced. Not much to talk about there.

    Barry Bonds
    Roger Clemens
    Curt Schilling
    Albert Belle
    Don Mattingly
    Fred McGriff
    Dale Murphy
    Rafael Palmeiro

If the guys get in who should get in based on their on-field performance, this would possibly be the greatest HOF class of all time.

    1. I doubt he gets in, but if he does, I can say that I was at this game when then Joey Belle hit his first major league homerun, a ball that almost left the lower deck in left field at the Metrodome. One of the longest home runs that I have ever seen.

      1. I'm with you. I think Bonds and Clemens should be in for sure, and am on the fence for Schilling. His a-holery makes me lean more towards "no" than what his playing career would probably warrant. I certainly wouldn't be heartbroken if he was left out.

        1. Bonds and Clemens might be a-holes, but yeah, I get plenty of schadenfreude out of Schilling being denied, I won't lie. Maybe he should have preserved his legacy by taking up a much cooler hobby after playing, like say, photography.

    1. No surprise they declined the option on SanΓ³. I'm still curious if they will tender arbitration to PagΓ‘n.

      1. Anything less would have been irresponsible management. I defended Sano against my little brother's criticism for a long time, but I have to admit now little brother was right all along.

        1. I was a Sano defender for a while too, but was fortunate to get off that train a bit earlier. Its a shame.

  2. I don't pay much attention to Twins Daily other than seeing things on Twitter. Is Nick Nelson as big of a jerk as he appears on Twitter?

    1. IMO it looks like Collier (sp) might be the jerk in this exchange but they both probably want that clickbait for their respective projects.

    1. lol. A team wasting Trout and Ohtani at the same time is almost hard to believe. Plus all the drug stuff. Wonder how long until the team is sold.

    2. I, for one, look forward to another year of "Ohtani throws 7 innings of 1-hit ball and Mike Trout hits two home runs in Angels loss."
