Like I've said all season, this Timberwolves team is a fun, passionate group.
Great game from the bench last night.
I don’t understand them, but I do definitely love them.
I’m going to have a house full of people to watch the Cousins show. Either way there’s brisket (and hopefully no gun play).
can any of them pitch and get outs right now?
I suppose Carlos Silva has the highest level of probability.
I'd be worried about Silva's OBP as a batter. Pretty sure he will never walk.
I’m expecting a close game, though I don’t have a prediction on who wins it or if it will be a thrilling ending.
Friend sent me this gem of a text: Before you get too worked up about today's game, just remember that the Vikings haven't won multiple games in a postseason since the 87 postseason - beating the Saints & 49ers.
One win should be seen as a great gift.
I fully expect them to squeak by the Giants, then get blown out by the 49ers.
And since this seems to be consensus, I expect them to lose today. Vikings performance tends to be proportionally inverse to expectations.
True Vikings fans know that it is their destiny to lose every big game they play. Should they happen to win a big game, it's only so they can lose a bigger game later on. This is our heritage, and I embrace it proudly.
That was dramatically anticlimactic
Seemed like Cuz had a great game. Then ends on that and everyone will want his head again.
I hope cooler heads will see that the real team problem is defense, not offense.
It's hard to be disappointed with 13 wins with a terrible defense.
I don't know if that qualifies as a thorough or heartbreaking loss. My vote is the former.
hard for it to feel heartbreaking when the defense did nothing the entire game.
right.
Seriously, though, I've been coming around on Cousins a bit, and he's really had a great season, but to end it on that. Heaving it to a different receiver (say the best in the league) couldn't have been any worse than tossing it to someone inside the sticks with a defender bearing down on them. Like, it really couldn't have been any worse.
Blech, I'm making a ruling. It was a middling loss, so that one vote has it.
Hey, that was me! Do I know my Vikings or what?!?
Had dinner at Pike and Pint tonight and the owner joined us for a drink.
I'm kind of a big deal.
Yes, you are a big deal! It was fun to meet you and your wife. Thanks for dropping in!
After seeing this, at least some of the blame goes on the play call. How do you not have anyone running an interview route on 4th and 8?!
