I couldn't tell you if the Twins are going to take the division or go crashing down in a flaming pile of injuries. Or maybe just somewhere in the middle. Oh, right, optimism. Um... Win Twins!

      1. But neither can the Guardians. That said, they did best against the Twins in 2022, but close behind were their 12-7 records against the Royals and White Sox. FanGraphs puts the Twins and Guardians at identical strength of schedules (.498).

          1. Just was about to type the same thing. It really all depends on health. If we avoid losing key players for an extended amount of time, I think we beat a healthy Cleveland team in the standings and finish with 84-90 wins. We do have more depth so don't think we fall too far if we get the injury bug again this year. Looking at other teams in the American League - The east is down a little with Boston doing very little in the offseason and the Yankees rotation already falling apart. The teams out west don't really scare me. I think we can still hit that 84-90 win range.

  1. Why is Larnach in left? Is he a better fielder than Gallo, or do we just not have a better first baseman than Gallo when Kiriloff isn't in the lineup?

    1. I know they were talking about Gallo playing some first base this year. I doubt that Larnach is a better fielder than Gallo, but I seem to remember he rated pretty well during his limited time out there. I am all about giving him a fair amount of at bats.

  2. Sounds like teams will still provide housing, and the deal improves the housing provided.

    1. You'd think a guy who writes his own schedule and rarely works Thursdays could occasionally get lucky with season openers and big games. However, I am still pretty occupied with following the Wild right now.

    1. I'm happy with both, particularly since The Boy may or may not be my provider.

But at least with MLB, fewer games are blacked out Because On ABCESPN.

  3. Naz Reid 🙁
