Twins open a four game series at Target Field against the Red Sox. While the Sox have one more win than the Twins, they play in the AL East, which makes that figure mean something entirely different.

We're getting one of those years where we do things like have a promising road trip then trip onto our faces against lesser teams. I fear this is going to be the type of team we have this year. Again. Rays of sunshine, bracketed by frustration. Uh, play ball!
I have always hated the "put a runner in scoring position before getting the first out" strategy.

I don't follow the Cards closely, but it seems like the manager is looking for scapegoats rather than doing things that could actually improve the team. Sending Jordan Walker to AAA for no particular reason, taking the catching job away from Willson Contreras basically for Willson Contreras. It's like he's trying to find people to blame, so that no one will blame him.
