CUBS 3, SAINTS 2 IN IOWA

Nelson Velazquez hit an RBI double in the seventh to break a 2-2 tie.

St. Paul had only four hits and no one had more than one.

Aaron Sanchez struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk.
Andrew Bechtold pitched a perfect inning and struck out one.
Austin Brice pitched a perfect inning and struck out one.

All four St. Paul pitchers had a first name that begins with "A" (the other was Austin Schulfer).

DRILLERS 4, WIND SURGE 1 IN TULSA

Tulsa scored three in the first on two singles, a walk, and three errors.

Wichita had only two hits and no one had more than one.

Carlos Luna pitched four innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk and striking out seven.
Alex Scherff struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.
Isaac Mattson pitched two shutout innings, walking one and striking out one.

KERNELS 3, RIVER BANDITS 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Cedar Rapids scored two in the fifth to take a 3-2 lead.  Ben Ross singled home the go-ahead run.

Jose Salas was 2-for-2 with a home run (his third) and a triple.

Jaylin Nowlin struck out ten in six innings, giving up two runs on two hits and a walk.
Malik Barrington struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.
Miguel Rodriguez pitched a perfect inning and struck out one.

MIGHTY MUSSELS 4, HAMMERHEADS 3 IN JUPITER (10 INNINGS)

Fort Myers scored two in the top of the tenth.  Jupiter scored one in the bottom of the tenth and had men on first and third when the game ended.

Dillon Tatum was 2-for-4.
Gregory Duran was 2-for-5.

Ben Ethridge pitched five innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks and striking out two.
Gabriel Yanez struck out five in three shutout innings, giving up one hit.

    And two had the initials AB while the other two were AS.
