Hola, amigos. We know it's been a long time since we rapped at ya, but we're happy to be back. We kept things brief this time, but packed in a lot of topics:
-A discussion of some of the food faceoffs on the site recently
-Quick fantasy update
-A look at the season so far
-Surprising players, both on the good and bad side
-What the Twins will need to finish the year
Put it in your ear holes, gang!
Ah man.
As much as I would like the Orioles to trade for him, this is the obvious outcome.
What about chapli? Is it a burger? What about spaghetti and meatballs?
The narrow definition of "taco" is problematic. Is a gyro a taco? They typically are served in a pita, which is essentially a flour tortilla, not rolled like a burrito or a "wrap."
Tacos or burgers the rest of life? Easy. Tacos.
Cantalope, honeydew, or Groß?? Was ist Groß?
Wonder what shorter games (because of the new rules) impacts are. Fewer commercial$, hot dog/beer $ales? Saving bull-pens? Less between-pitch-arm-recovery time? How will this show up in the record books (e.g. wouldn't it fluff up RBIs? many pitching stats)?
I'm thinking attendance (especially among the younger fans) is up thanks to shorter games.
