I was about to say the game was out of reach so no big deal with Keuchel in but Lewis ruined that.
I don't know the numbers, so the move may be entirely justified. But I'd rather have Julien hitting here than Vazquez.
Julien has been atrocious against lefties, but it's not like Vazquez is a whole lot better.
I gotta think his OB% is better than Vazquez without checking...
Julien has a .205 OBP and .436 OPS versus lefties. Vázquez has a .254 OBP and .666 OPS versus lefties this year.
Kinda surprises me, although I know his MiLB BBs aren't entirely translating
18.8% in AAA compared to 12.5% in MLB. Still above MLB average but it's 0.0% versus lefties compared to 14.5% against righties.
I want to see Chapman get pasted here
