I have nothing against Sano, and more power to him if he can make it, but he'll be thirty-one this season, hasn't had a good season since 2019, and batted .196 in the spring with 16 strikeouts in 46 at-bats. A team that's going nowhere allows a player like that to take up roster space. I guess that's why they're the Angels.
