TOLEDO MUD HENS 20, ST. PAUL SAINTS 9 IN ST. PAUL

St. Paul led 5-3 after one inning, but Toledo scored sixteen more runs before the Saints scored again.

Multi-hit games:  Edouard Julien was 2-for-3 with a double, three walks, and two runs.  Patrick Winkel was 2-for-4 with two doubles and a walk.  Will Holland was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs.  Jair Camargo was 2-for-5 with a triple, a double, and two RBIs.

Pitching prowess:  Jeff Brigham pitched two shutout innings, giving up two hits and three walks and striking out one.

WICHITA WIND SURGE 3, ARKANSAS TRAVELERS 2 IN ARKANSAS

Wichita led 3-0 before Arkansas scored two in the eighth.  They got the tying run to second base, but a strikeout ended the inning.

Multi-hit games:  Kyler Fedco was 2-for-4 with a double.  Jake Rucker was 2-for-5 with a home run.

Home runs:  Rucker (5).

Multi-RBI games:  None.

Stolen bases:  Tanner Schobel (7); Dalton Shuffield (3).

Pitching prowess:  Travis Adams struck out seven in five shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk.  Taylor Floyd struck out three in two perfect innings.  Cody Laweryson retired all four men he faced, striking out three.

Opposition standout:  Reid VanScoter pitched five innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks and striking out two.

Record:  Wichita is 31-38, in fifth (last) place, six games behind Springfield.

PEORIA CHIEFS 9, CEDAR RAPIDS KERNELS 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

It was 4-2 after seven, but Peoria scored two in the eighth and three in the ninth.

Fort Myers scored seven runs in the second inning.
